That's funny, I think. The current F-150 is so much larger than my 2009 F-150, and the Ranger is just about the same size. And it's really no different than the Maverick, which used to be based on the Mazda S-2000 teeny truck.
I would rather have a teeny truck, like the old Chevy S-10 I used to have. There really isn't any option any more between a regular truck, and a small truck.
Exactly. And it's why ford basically has orders for the next 18 months worth of building the maverick. There is a demand for a vehicle that can do truck things but isn't the size of the space shuttle.
So here's the latest. The fact Prince George is paying more than Vancouver for gas even thought there's 18.5 cents less tax and the gas is not refined and imported from the US is because
there's a shortage of ethanol.
And there's a mandate that says they have to mix ethanol in gas.
Which is pure bullshit, they can put up to 10% ethanol and most do in winter blends.
Also calls into question why doesn't an ethanol shortage affect the refineries elsewhere?
And STILL doesn't address why prices are higher without 18,5 c extra tax
Had a Dodge D50 4x4 that I loved until we had the 2nd kid. A while back I had a Blazer I used for work, great until I found out why they called them that. Got to the top of a mountain with a load of radio equipment and the engine caught on fire!
When I was looking for new wheels in 2014 I would've liked another small pickup, they all stopped making them. So I ended up with my Wrangler which is actually a fairly huge vehicle. Now I have that and a Saturn Vue, neither needed as there's just me and I don't crawl up mountains anymore.
But absurd prices and zero selections kind of rules out doing anything about it.
Go take a look in the cereal section to see shrinkflation
The worst kind of shrinkflation is when they make the packages the same size as before even when you're getting less. Those taller and narrower cans makes them look bigger than before, which is a different kind of evil.
That's what caught my eye too. Taller can. Less in it.
Probably because we need bilingual labels and the information they have to print on the label is different.
...or everything was shipped to China, transformed and packaged there, and then shipped back to Canada and sold as "Canadian".
