Read it. The largest number casualties at one time often come from Coalition bombings, one of the largest when the Coalition bombed a HOSPITAL. They bombed a fucking hospital. Yep, Iraq sure has improved from when Saddam was in power

No, I meant how do you know they don't think Iraq is getting any better?

Hmm... Maybe becuase their fucking dead? Killed by a bomb or a soldier or a firefight or a fucking tank, their dead. Chances are they wouldn't be dead if the US hadn't shown up.

Still, how do you know? In Paradise they can probably see all now.

Hey there Dark..Firstly I am not defending what the coalition of the braindead is doing over in Iraq but, imagine what would have been said if the media had the instant access to numbers during WWII. Could you possibly imagine the outcry over the civilian deaths during the battle of Britain or the bombings of Dresden? What about live coverage of the US carpet bombings in Vietnam. These were, basically, secret wars. Nobody knew what was actually going on.

The media has us as their puppets. They tell us what to think and how to act. We have been brainwashed by technology and are all too stupid to change the friggin' channel.

That's just like saying "How do you know that Austin-Marin DB9s exist?" Do I personally own an Austin-Martin? No. Have I ever personally seen or touched one? No. Do they exist? Pretty damn sure they do.

I'm thinking if they're looking at Iraq now, they will see it's improving.

I try not to watch the news unless I have to... I only listen to the radio, they don't have any obligation to be biased, their only obligation is to play some mad songs. They just throw out some facts, a faceless number lets say, and than carry on. So you know what's happening, your just as informed, and you go on with your day without giving it a second though.

Oh, and Constantinople, that all depends on wether you believe in which religion or another. To me, since I don't think that many of them died with a sword in hand charing the enemy, most of them would have been eaten by the soul-stealer in Nifelhiem and they wouldn't be exactly looking down at anything.

Not really, since I didn't believe it. My argument is perhaps true based on what I believe. And your argument can never be true based on what you believe.

Nope.

Yours is Nifelhiem stuff where no one can look down, etc. (so how would they be able to know it's not getting any better in Iraq)

Mine is they're in Paradise able to look down at Iraq, etc. (so if stuff is getting better in Iraq, they would know)

And here is the sentence our argument rests on:

The Dark Canuck The Dark Canuck:
I think that the 25,000 + civilians who died in the Iraq war don't think that it's getting any better.

So it really doesn't work both ways.

By this logic, during WWII we would have instantly known about the amount of jews and ruskies being exterminated in the concentration camps. We would know the way conquered people were being treated, ie. destroyed, exterminated, genocide. These reasons would have been enough to unite the allies against the huge threat.

Just like the knowledge of Saddam's own genocide has united everyone against him?
