Canada-U.S.-war...possibility?

And Americans wonder why ??????? they are disliked by so many peoples throughout the world .Just look at Welsh .This attitude that they are the tops at every thing pisses people off to start with .I have no problem with people being patriotic .But when it precludes you listening too and accepting that other people have different views and oppinions that are just as valid as your own then you have got to accept that you will come under critisism .
And can i just add that even though i am a relative newcommer to this site . I am already fucked off at the few Americans that post on here blagging on about how much the rest of the world owes them . The next yank that crowes on about how they saved the world countless times can piss off . Yes you gave invaluable aid in WWII but if Great Britain ,Canada and all the combined Commonwealth Countries haden't stood up and held against the Axis Powers then you would all be speaking Deutch and Japanees now .
So as much as i like an argument if Americans want to be accepted and understood by the rest of the world then maybe just maybe they should try first to accept and understand they rest of the world .
The rest of the world needs to accept America, too. We like our guns yet the rest of the world is PISSING some of us off with their insistance that Americans have to disarm. WTF business is it of the UN to tell Americans to give up our personal firearms?
"the combined Commonwealth Countries haden't stood up and held against the Axis Powers"
Until the USA got into the fray formally do not forget that the USA had initiated Lend-Lease to arm the Commonwealth. And if you want to cite the 'holding' power of the Commonwealth you'd better just limit that to how the Commonwealth held against the German surface fleet and against the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain.
Otherwise the 'holding' actions I can recall include Singapore where a superior British force surrendered to an inferior Japanese force, Hong Kong, Dunkirk, Dieppe (frankly I've always considered Dieppe as Canada's Gallipoli...I hope you know this isn't an insult), and etc. At best the successes were holding actions with the rest of the actions being retreats or defeats.
I'll posit that the Brits may have been able to defeat Germany in North Africa without the US but that would've been a bloody war of attrition.
The truth is that the war could not have been won by the Commonwealth alone.
But it is also true that the USA could not have fought the war as successfully without the alliance with the Commonwealth. Had the Commonwealth been defeated the focus of the war for the USA would've been Japan and that may have ended sooner as the USA devoted the bulk of its resources to the Pacific. Germany and Russia would've immolated themselves and at some point the USA would've turned to resolving the German issue.
All of that is speculation as the Allied forces carried the day. The Alliance benefitted everyone and I think we should all agree on that and be happy that we were and are friends and endeavour to remain so.

Did you read his post slush-for-brains?
He is commenting about this thread "US-Canada War". How is a comment about your military equipment inappropriate? Or are you so fucking nationalistic that you cannot accept any criticism of your country and you fly off the handle when criticised? Check your own posts, MasterBaiter for similar crap you have said about the US. For you, it is easy to come up posts that criticize the US.

You hate American arrogance huh? More like you hate any American who is proud of his country and isn't willing to present his asshole for you to fuck.
The level of arrogance YOU show is unbelievable. One wonders if Canada were the most economically powerful, most militarily powerful, most technologically advanced, most culturally powerful country on the planet and probably the most the world has ever known....what levels of arrogance you canadians would achieve.
As it is you manage to be smug, condescending and arrogant despite being none of those things.
All you have to worry about is how to take care of your healthcare system and get along with one another...and you can't do either one of those right.
You talk about hating American arrogance.
Canada, a land of polite, kind, helpful, peaceful people. Now that's ironic.
Have a good day.

By the way my father was in the military and has done allot in it including cammando training and CSIS. Belonging to CSIS has its advantages in that you have access to restricted areas depending on your rank and position in the intelligence agency. Canada has signed an agreement to not posses or build nuclear weapons but either the Canadian government is hiding somthing or there were holes and secret deals behind the treaty because Canada does have nuclear weapons, not large ones launched by missles but it does have bombs that if dropped over an enemy city can do more damage then heroshima or nagasaki (not sure the spelling is right). Also we have battle field nuclear weapons which are extrememly deadly and can wipe out thousands and thousands of men on the battle field, my father has seen them with his own eyes
Really, you got some proof of that or... is it top secret?

And if your father is or was in CSIS I hardly think he would divulge that information on to you.

lol, how could i possibly prove it to you over this forum? think what you want its your problem for not believing me. Your the type of moron who thinks "conspiracy's" and crap only happen in movies, Why would he not tell me? im his son, hes out of the service and whos how could anything bad happen to him when im the only one who has been told and i only tell people like you who dont believe it anyway..hardly a risk. He wasnt high up in CSIS he had low level clearance and the only reason he saw the weapons is because he helped movie them from one bunker to another. How is this so hard to believe? I mean i would understand you not believing it if i said "oh hes a top level CSIS dude who knows all this "top secret" information and Canada has massive nuclear missles aimed at North Korea blablabla..." but i dont lie like that i tell the simple truth and wether your to closed minded to believe it or not is up to you.
Ok Mr 2 posts looks like you got me. POST SOME PROOF! How is it possible on this forum? I dont know but unless you dont your words are hardly credible, get my drift? And yes its quite unbelievable unless your just rambling on in a drunken stupor which seems like it. blah blah blah

As an American (who likes Canada and has spent time there), why would we? We have nothing aganist Canada, but by reading some of the posts in here, a lot of you hate us. Some of you love Michael Moore, you can have the bastard.I voted for Bush and I'm proud. Some of you mention 1812 and how you burned down the White House, we kind of did the same to Toronto and we weren't lead by British Imperialist overlords. N.B. Ottawa was built to defend the Canadian Capital against the Americans. We didn't move Washington, we rebuilt it. Sorry, I love your country, but stop with the Anti-American B.S. We're not your enemy; Al Qaida and your own bigotry are. As for your military being as well equipt as the American one. I was in the US Army and trained with Canadian forces. Your soldiers are well trained, but your equipment just plain sucks.

Pretty ironic that you have to say that in this type of thread. Maybe you should read other posts instead of being presumptious. You voted for Bush and are proud? Ok thats up to you but I wouldnt be coming on to Canadian websites to tell them what to do. I know you mean well but quite frankly, your words mean nothing. Also nice of you to bring up the war of 1812 for some freakin reason... nice, Kudos to you. Reading your post just made me hate more American arrogance, go figure my Canadian loving friend.

The Canadian military has inferior equipment. That isn't breaking news at all. Most of the opinion I see here on CKA tends to agree that Canada needs to spend more on her military. I recall seeing on CBC not so long ago about a Canadian unit deployed to Afghanistan that had to HITCH-HIKE from the airport to their base. Pretty sad.
Canadian sailors and soldiers are no-shit great people. Maybe if Canada spent more money on her fighting forces instead of bullshit like the gun registration programme you could rightfully call the guy a liar.
Victoria class submarine is about all I have to say on this point.

Did I call the guy a liar? No I didnt, I just didnt appreciate him coming and and generalizing the WHOLE army equipment as inferior which its NOT. Your right, im not even going to talk about the Submarines, check one for you. What does gun registry have to to with superior/inferior equipment? But to say all the equipment is inferior, you need to get your head out of your ass.

4. What country is more technologically advanced than the USA?
Even if you could name a country that we might debate about for one of these categories, the fact is America is an awesome country. Given all that we have accomplished and continue to do for the world is it so unbelievable there is some bragging or arrogance? At least we have something to be arrogant about.
In general Americans don't go around bragging. In fact, given our dominance in so many areas I think most of us are downright humble. But if you keep picking, picking, picking then some of us get pissed off.

Yet Canada is ranked as one of the best countries in the world to live, which we know very well. And Accomplished that without causing so much death, destruction and misery throughout the rest of the world.
And that brings us to the second sentence. Americans have no idea about the amount of subversive activity their government has undertaken in order to make sure they have the worlds resources and hence the "right" to say they are the most economically powerful.
Welsh @ Fri May 06, 2005 1:07 pm

Did you know the USA was ranked ahead of Canada on this UN list last year?
We also always rank as "one of the best countries in the world to live".
There is very little difference among countries that make the top 10. The USA consistenly ranks around fifth to seventh.
And I'll bet you next year we are ahead of you again due primarily to the corruption in your government.
Who knows, in ten years Canada may not even be a country, instead we'll have to rank "Quebec", Canuckistan, "The provinces formerly known as Canada". Or some such.

What resources? Coal? We have enough domestic coal production to last for the next 250 years.
Oil? We produce domestically enough for 50% of our needs. Our major export source is Canada. Are you saying that the USA has subverted your government so we "have" your oil resources? And all this time, I thought we paid you world market rates for the stuff. If we subverted your government how come you aren't in Iraq helping out?
Have we subverted the Saudia Government for the rest of the oil we need? Funny, those Saudi bastards keep funding terrorists through the wahhabi schools and then charge us over 50$ a barrrel for the oil. If we subverted them we sure didn't do a very good job of it.
Welsh you wonder why people jump on you, yet you make a post like maybe we will be called canuckistan?? Give me a break, you are just a shit disturber, who obviously has nothing better to do than come on to a fun website that has nothing to do with your great country and talk shit.

We are happy to live in Canada, lucky us.

I say let the government do it. As long as they're keeping the USA alive and well, that's all I can ask for. The role of government is to first and foremost protect the country it governs, whether it be economically, militarily, etc.
(I'd say it's done a good job for over 200 years)

Even though it means death to millions of people mainly in the third world. As a Christian Nation aren't you supposed to not cause death and suffering.
Ex-Cia John Perkins highlights this in his book Confessions of an economic hitman. About the US indebting on purpose and overthrowing even democratic governemnts at the cost of thousands of innocent lives. In the review I read he said he wrote the book because his conscience did not allow him to stay quiet about itanymore.
But even in God's eyes that is justified as long as the you are keeping the USA "alive and well." And you can't understand why people look at the US with some revulsion.
