Why not change the forum to:

Canada/Canada Relations

That will fix it.

ManifestDestiny @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 4:04 pm

Canadaka Honestly I thought this was Us Canada relations. You should look at the old posts and see whose trying to start a fight. I dont think that just cause you are left wing you can say anything and get awy with it. Just look at michaelredeagles posts and then say who is trying to start a fight. Also all the people who cheer him on.

Canadaka @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 4:52 pm

ok yes sorry this is the Canada/Us relations forum, but there is threads with this topic all over the forums now.

i was generalizing with the left/right there are exceptions. But from my experiece in the last 4 years, the biggest troubles makers are the far right.

I do agree michaelredeagles should be more civil.

I'm just starting to get sick of all the US/Canada bashing

hwacker @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 5:04 pm

"the biggest troubles makers are the far right"

Well that could be a bias if your liberal, are you ?

michaelredeagle @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 5:06 pm

good point cka, its amazing how the sub. came up once and is now all over the forums.
If there was a way to slap it all into one single forum...
It would seem that Me, Rev, carpediem, xerxes, and many others are just repeating ourselves over the whole site.

With that I'll say my last on the sub.

Lived in america, couldn't care if it fell. Don't like americans. Don't like it, oh, well, honestly couldn't care. Call it what you want, but I don't have to like you. This isn't america, it's Canada.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

hwacker @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 5:09 pm

O Librada!
Our home and naive land!
True liberal love in all thy martin’s commands.
With shrinking wallets we see thee lies,
The True North feeble and taxed!
From far and wide,
O Librada, We real Canadians can only cry.
God keep our land Liberal and blind!
O Librada, We real Canadians can only cry.
O Librada, We real Canadians can only cry.

absolutely not, has nothing to do with my policital views, has to do with running this website for 6 years. Do you have this experience? Ask any of the long term members or the admin of another large Canadian forum, like Andem.

That's cause some of these nutters are so thick-headed they don't contemplate what they read except to find some line to misrepresent.

Canadaka is quite right in saying that the right-wingers are more prone to trouble-making. I've been a part of this site for almost two years now and by a fair margin it is the right wingers who cause the most dischord here. When I joined the site there were a good number of conservative members like Johnnybga, but there was one big difference between people like him and you formercanuck, he is thoughtful and articulate. He doesn't have to resort to name calling or non-sensical rants to make his point. Also, after reading his posts I disagree with him, but I don't feel as I am about have an anyuerism because it was so full of shit.

Men stumble over the truth from time to time, but most pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing happened.
Sir Winston Churchill

Thats for all you left wingers.

A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.

Thats for michaelredeagle

Robair @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 7:20 pm

The problem isn't right wingers. It's people who think the definition of liberal is someone who doesn't support Bush and his neoconservatives. I have right wing tendancies... the new definitions of conservative and liberal in the US are whack.

... I guess you could say the problem is Bush supporters? :?

carpediem @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 7:32 pm

I agree Canadaka. The fact is Canada and the U.S, and many other countries face similiar problems.

xerxes @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 7:45 pm

He probably can't think for himself.

carpediem @ Tue Mar 22, 2005 8:25 pm

Quotes are a very good way to communicate a point, however, when used to condescend another person, it's disgraceful. Quotes should not be taken out of context of what it's original meaning was. Hence using it as a personal attack towards someone with left ideologies, is taking it out of context, and it's disgraceful.
