Should call this person "Mr. Anti- Canadian"

Maybe he should explore Canada and get to really know what this country is all about!!

I think he has been to Canada before and that's why he can say all these.

Besides, his points kinda make sense.

Oy Vey!

HAHAHAHAH and just think how close the nickname is to yours :D

I figured someone must have put it up here before, this guy needs professional help.

His old lady probably started fucking a guy from Regina or something!!
Just to clarify things, I'm not from Regina...........not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yeah, if I were from Regina, I'd deny it too!

Oh come on everyone, he is making fun of stereotypes, and quite possibly mocking his own ignorance, lighten up a bit :D

EDIT: How did this get into the US/Canadian Relations forum, a possible rift?

How small must his penis be? (I mean that little wiener of that guy who made that page)

$1:
Poutine - This is a concoction (for lack of a better term) of French Fries, Thick Greasy Gravy, and Cheese. It resembles a mixture of morning sickness and something an 8th grader in a school cafeteria would be paid by his peers to eat. If you ordered a value meal at McDonalds and supersized it and filled the bag up to the rim with lard you could not touch the fat content of poutine. The popularity of this 'food' is why Canada approved socialized health care.

Come on! You don't find this funny? What did he do here, bash your gastronomical identity?

In reviewing the content of his hate mail it would appear that IceOwl and Avro have been quite busy.

Anybody who takes the TIME to build a site like that has serious issues in their life. That's my take anyways.

Wish I could pluck the person up and drop him into the middle of a Canadian base in Afghanistan full of troops that saw his site.

I would love to meet this fellow face to face one day.

And after the two of you got done calling each other names you'd sit down and have a beer.

The guy who wrote the site is just taking things I've seen for myself on this site and tossing them back at you, just the same as you folks do to us much of the time. Granted, it's a little much, but then so is most everything on the net.

The things that are absurd you laugh at.

But it is the things that have a grain of truth to them that really piss you off for the very reason that they have some truth to them.

I would fathom to say that someone in Canada (or several someones) must've really gotten under his skin with something to piss him off so much that he dedicated a site to his retort.

If you think about it, you folks actually tweaked him.

In my book then, that's: Canada 1 - Irate Blogger Guy 0

Thematic-Device @ Thu Mar 09, 2006 9:29 am

how can anyone take the website seriously enough to get angry at it? Honestly?

Wada @ Thu Mar 09, 2006 9:34 am

I skimmed through his site yesterday and laughed my ass off at some of the stuff. While I was laughing I wondered if this was not what made Canadians Canadian. The overwhelming urge to laugh at ourselves. After reading the canadians reply today I'm thinking maybe I was wrong and now I'm back to looking for the allusive "thing" that makes us Canadian.

Well you know, I'll give you a perspective from the outside, stop wasting time on what you aren't and start focusing on what you are. And what is that you ask?

You are mix of two countries, the UK and the US. Your forefathers wanted to keep ties with the UK, ties which resonate across your massive land till this very day. Your proximity to the big US (population) has enabled American culture to permeate your society in every aspect. You're in a constant struggle to define what is a Canadian when the answer is before your very eyes.

It isn't about what you invented, if you are into peacekeeping and not policing, that you have a Prime Minister and not a President, your single payer healthcare as opposed to the US's two-tier system nor is it that you are a kinder gentler people. It's about Canada being a new country, that is in the beginning stages of defining itself to the world. Yeah, you're a brand new country.

Only within the last 50 or so years has their been a Canadian citizenship, since the mid 60's you have your own flag, since 1982 you have your Constitution. There is nothing wrong with being a new country in search of its indentity, hell I think it would be pretty exciting if you ask me. It is like being in the US in the late 18th century. From my perspective you are at a stage of "indentity evolution" (pardon the phrase), where Americans were in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

You also have a major problem in my view of promoting multiculturalism as opposed to the wicked reference of assimilation (because it is an "American" concept). Don't use the word assimilation, use the word integration. People can maintain their cultures and be integrated into Canadian society and culture. Multiculturalism is divisive in my opinion. I don't believe in hyphenated Canadians or Americans or anything else. That could be true for first generation, after that it shouldn't exist. How can you hope to obtain this indentity you speak of when your government promotes immigrants in maintaining their own distinct identities. I never understood that, just an observation from afar.

I have long believed Canada should of revolted against the British Empire within 100 years of the American Revolution, sometimes it takes a kick in the ass to define oneself. History defines who you are, in my opinion.

So what's a Canadian from my point of view?

Tough fighters in war, and the best neighbors anyone could ask for. This is how I think of Canada and Canadians. Don't struggle to define yourselves to the world, the world doesn't listen anyway. Just be yourselves eh?
