I don’t expect you to understand. Alberta is the only jurisdiction in Canada to enshrine property rights so this is an alien concept for you.

The Trudeau lieberals created debts and deficits long before the PC came to power. I am no supporter of the PCs but admittedly they were dealt a Librano induced recession of which the measures put in place, combined with the lieberal strategy of heaviest tax burden on the planet, balanced the books. But in the process our standard of living has dropped in comparison to the US.



No, but why will you not stop treating us as a colony and give us a chance? Of this I’m sure, we can’t possibly do a worse job than your lieberals.



Again, you know not of what you talk about. Alberta for example, only sent Libranos to Ottawa until the 1960s until it was obvious that more than a half-century had failed. Additionally, your statement implies that the Libranos are the defacto government and our suffrages are warranted for not supporting the Ontario Bloc Party.

Because Harper and the folks have enough integrity to show no confidence in what EVEN YOU cannot dispute is the most corrupt government in the history of Confederation, it is their fault the Libranos made more secret deals to the tune of almost 5 billion. I think you are starting to convince me Canada does not work. You lieberals will never lets us participate will you? It does not matter what scandal comes next does it? Somehow it will be the cons fault. Seriously, what is the point of sitting around waiting for you self-serving …..people, to destroy our economy again?



A recent poll in Alberta showed 43% support for exploring separation. Support for the Alberta Agenda is hovering around 75%. This while times are good, middle of summer etc. The Lieberals are not gaining strength in Alberta but reflect a movement away from the Conservatives whom most westerners feel (and I’m starting to agree) don’t have a chance of forming the government because of Ontario hate. The West failed with the Libranos upto Trudeau, failed with Mulroney PCs, failed with the Reform, failed with the Alliance all of which where “west wants in” initiatives. The “West Wants Out” chorus is starting to grow here and after the next election, of which I personally guarantee the Libranos will win, you will see a massive shift in political ideology across the West.



I don’t like it at all but I admit it. I see my country slipping away which is why I optimistically engage a**holes such as yourself in hope evoking some sort of meaningful dialogue and maybe salvage this ship before it sinks in the next few years.

You Ontario lieberals remind me of the guy whose wife hates him then is utterly surprised when she sues for divorce.



You still don’t see it, Alberta cannot morally or legally act on her own. The rules of Confederation place that power in the hands of the Libranos who keep dropping the ball cheered on by all you anti-americans. What part of this isn’t getting through?

I agree with your statement. Furthermore, and I keep pointing this out to you, Ontario is not Canada, the Libranos are not Captain Canuck. This is a nation irrespective of Ontario. Get over your provincial delusions of grandeur and start allowing all provinces to participate in Confederation.

Piece of advice for you DerbyX. Stop equating anit-lieberal to being anti-Canadian. Develop a coherent stance on issues in order to avoid the constant hypocrisy. Try to speak about what you know, educate yourself on that issue, or sit back and let the experts hammer for awhile and learn the topic from them. I read far more then I type because many people in these forums have much to teach and share with all of us. Please spare me your inevitable “I know you are but what am I?” response to this.

Sorry to “bore” you duncecap; as I am so unable to finesse my statements to your mastery of the forum post however, I once voted for and once respected the Liberal Party of the first half century. From Trudeau on they have denigrated themselves to the point that they don’t deserve to be called anything other than liars (lieberals) and mobsters (Libranos) and I shall maintain that swtance until honour to the party is restored.

Excellent posts Grainfed. Those in Ontario cannot see the rest of country through the smog of Toronto. They feel that they should be the centre of the universe. Western Canada holds a majority of the resources that drive Canada's economy yet those in the east continue to treat us as second class citizens and drive their agenda down our throats.

It is time for the idiots in Ottawa to realize that there is more to Canada than Ontario and Quebec and start respecting those in the West.

what are you blabbering on about, try to put aside your hatred of all things East of Manitoba to understand this because you obviously didn't get it first time I AM NOT A LIBERAL, I'm one of the 75% of eligible Ontario voters who didn't vote Liberal at the last election who're sick and tired of the constant abuse this province gets from the likes of you.
I know you don't really care about fixing Canada anymore being a separatist but a word of advice for the others who do still care, when the Liberals get 50% or more of all eligible Ontario voters supporting them then feel free to label an entire province until then try to separate your hatred of Liberals from your hatred of Ontarians because they're two different things.
