I made a a solemn vow to my self, never to visit the U.S or Stockholm.
The rest of the world, A-ok!
Scared that what you see might not be what you were told?
I don't want to grant them legitimacy. I'm confident that I'd have a blast though.
You would probably denounce socialism and apply for American citizenship.

EDIT: well.. maybe one day.. with a socialistic government. Never STHLM though.
I thought Stockhold was beautiful. Why would you not want to go there?
It's a Gothenburg - STHLM thing. Complicated.

Personally, I will be going to the U.S.A., but never to live there (not over a dead body)
I wish to visit a few places in Amerika.
I view America as a country that is abroad.
To me, America is basically like Russia, Or Britain, Or France.
It's a place to visit, but return home and relax.
By then I'll be living on the Canadian Shield in Ontario somewhere.
You won't have to go through as much trouble atleast.
What would be your nr1 priority while on american soil? except spitting on it, that is.

Ehehehehe,
I'm not sure what my first would be, But I would take the time to bring along a Flag to stab into the ground. Somewhere near the border.
I'd see if it as still there when I was coming back.
I'm not sure, I really can't think of much I could do there....

I'd have sex with a dead male corpse before that day,
Hell, I'd have to rape an entire graveyard.

At one time the booze stores were closed here on Sundays and so began my Amerification on those hour and a half sunday drives to the first and last chance bar in Montana for beer's and tombstone pizza's. Sometimes we made it back to Canada, sometimes we went on a road trip, depending on how drunk we were. I remember getting escorted out of town by no less then 4 sherrifs in 4 county's in one day. When Mt. Saint Helens blew I was sitting in jail in Montana with the wife and about 30 friends while they figured out what to do with us after the local Mormon kicked us off his land at gunpoint right after we tapped our keg.You had to be there, gawd I love the states.

Well if you havent been there you cant really say you wouldnt move there. I had a real hard time leaving Palm springs last time I was down there.
I have an Aunt who lives in Palm Springs. Not sure how long she has been there but she is originally from Egypt which is cool.
$1:
Can you tell me this?
Do they say 'Zed' over there anymore? I know a few Brits who now live in Canada, and they all ahve been Americanized.
They thought "Colour" was spelt "Color".
I was a little surprised, did their schools teach them that?
The problem of Americanization is DEFINITELY not only with Canada.
Well how do you talk? I bet you sound like an American? So it wouldn't surprise me if people pick up their spelling considering many people sound identical to most of them.

I'm told that I sound like I'm from Ontario.
I'm not sure how the Yanks 'speak'.
Here read this:
http://www.tourcanada.com/comedy.htm
Very stereotypically, except for a few things, everything under Diphthongs, Vowel location Changes, Silent Vowels, "Replacing Y with two E's", inconstant consonants, verb tenses, "Joining prepositions with words", Eh, whatever, Provinces, Territories and Political parties is how I actually sound.
A friend printed this thing out and showed me it. I was a little surprised that I apparently "don't talk right".
Eh.

Eh.
Sounds like more or less a slight variation from the Americans no? A couple more words perhaps but many on this humour page I never heard anyone here use them and if so they are used elsewhere as well. I sound more like my mum who is from Alberta and sounds more English but my father is a Newfie so I have picked up some twang from him.

Here most people sound like they are from California. Actually I think most Canadians talk like they do or are very similar.
