I realize this as does my British husband, infact britians gotten so Americanized it's scarey. We have other plans, but no place on earth will ever be perfect will it?
... probably not.. But we could re-direct wealth from Britain and the U.S to Venezuela and go live there?
Why don't you re-direct the money Sweden made selling Iron Ore to Hitler's Military Machine instead?
Or the money IBM made when they provided the germans with machines to register the jews in the concentration camps?

I'd say right now we are in charge of ownage.

Whats really funny is that it seems like the people that know everything about the USA from Bush planning 9/11 to anything else that tastes of conspiracy has probably never been to the USA.
That allways blows me away, experts in Sweden and other far off countries allways seem to be the most vocal.
No one ever mentions how many Cubans or Mexicans die every year trying to get to the land of Satan.

OHH thats a good point
Yup,and its a point often overlooked. Why are people risking their lives to get to the USA?
Cubans are allowed to stay if their feet can hit the beach, ever see the video's of these people trying to hit the beach?
The USA has its faults like most contries do,but people are still dieing to get in for some reason.

No, what's REALLY funny is that you seem to go from hating me to liking me from day to day?
Could we straighten this out once and for all just so I know how to adress you in the future.
Sure,I dont hate anyone and nothing piss's me off. Hows that?
Guess I shouldnt have mentioned Sweden, considering how we may be related.
You would really have to work at it to piss me off Opp,many have tried.
Life's too short to waste it being mad at anyone.

I try not to criticize countries I have never been to. You should try it sometime.
It's difficult when one nation act as tyrant over the others.
... that and my youth drives me to anger.

At least when the "Trading with the Enemy Act" was passed, it stopped.
When did Sweden stop? Never. How else could you fund your bloated welfare state?

Soon your youth will catch up to you and the more important things in life will fill your mind.
Visit the USA or live there and you will see it's not a tyrant but the free world.

Can you tell me this?
Do they say 'Zed' over there anymore? I know a few Brits who now live in Canada, and they all ahve been Americanized.
They thought "Colour" was spelt "Color".
I was a little surprised, did their schools teach them that?
The problem of Americanization is DEFINITELY not only with Canada.

Personally, I will be going to the U.S.A., but never to live there (not over a dead body)
I wish to visit a few places in Amerika.
I view America as a country that is abroad.
To me, America is basically like Russia, Or Britain, Or France.
It's a place to visit, but return home and relax.
By then I'll be living on the Canadian Shield in Ontario somewhere.

I don't want to grant them legitimacy. I'm confident that I'd have a blast though.
