It's taken me twoooooooooooooo days to log on, it's starting to get very "Frustrating". Where's the tin foil I smell a conspiracy in the air. I wonder how long it shall take for this post to appear?

Canadaka Canadaka:
ok I totaly cleaned out all the PHP and Mysql files on the server and installed the newest versions of both. For awhile random topics in the forum were loading blank, but after fiddling with the php.ini settings it seems to be working fine now.

please report any errors.

Liberals seem to be liberallier then normal. Any way to moderate settings?

fatbasturd @ Thu Apr 12, 2007 11:38 am

Site is running fine at the moment...pages are loading great.

Where did the Radio go???

The site seems to be doing fine now, but was terrible today and yesterday.

ziggy @ Thu Apr 12, 2007 12:04 pm

Was good for about a half hour but is real slow now, again.

EDIT-ok,now that I got the winow to open its good again.

Canadaka @ Thu Apr 12, 2007 1:39 pm

arg this is extremely frustrating, with the reinstall of PHP & Mysql things are stable, the database isn't crashing, there is no errors in the system log. But every once and awhile the site grinds to a halt. The CPU usage is not spiking or anything, it just dies.

I just restarted it and now its blazzing fast.

this is going to be hard to track down, it could be a million things.

Scrappy @ Thu Apr 12, 2007 1:44 pm

Trev you vacumn your hard drive lately? A little dust on the fans and it really can make the old CPU act up.

Canadaka @ Thu Apr 12, 2007 1:55 pm

lol I doubt there is much dust where the servers are, they are in a high quality datacenter ;)

Canadaka @ Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:23 pm

sorry site was up and down the last 30min, was trying to narrow down whats causing the problem. I disabled all the other sites hosted on the server and the slow downs still seemed to happen.

Its not a hardware issue, when the slow down occurs the CPU and Mmeory usage is not high. Its probably an out of control process somewhere, endless loop or something.

Well I gave the entire server a restart... and things seem to be running fine... for now.

Don't jinx it !!!!
