Cape Breton, for sure... I know it'll be tough for all of you to accept, but all your places suck.

I think the rolling hills os southern Saskatchewan is an underenjoyed place of beauty. Tip to people going accross Saskatchewan, though the Trans Canada is by far the fastest way, we never have traffic problems and the roads are pretty decent to take the senic route, all highways and grids are on just that on a grid so take the bak roads you won't get lost.

Yeah they do, and the scenery can't be beat, nor can the people... The only problem I'd have retiring in CB is the fact that I can't make a living there and help them out.

Haven't been west of Manitoba, but everyone I talk to from here says it sucks, so I probably won't bother with the consideration...

Growing up I thought that everything east of Vancouver Island sucked. But, then I was dragged to manitoba(in January no less) and you realize that scenery isn't the only thing that makes a locale appealing. For instance, living in north eastern Manitoba, I found it very scenic only the local primate population, with a few notable exceptions, were extremely unpleasant. Southern Saskatchewan is extremely unscenic, oh look a tree!
But the people are friendly (my wife is from SE Saskatchewan). In Kaohsiung the polution and traffic is horrendous, but I've made some of my best friends there. Crane River Indian Reserve is a desolate run down hole but I have lots of good friends there to this day that I am closer to than members of my own family. So I guess in the end, wherever you are happiest is the most important place because you have see with your heart as well as your eyes.

I must admit that BC is stunning, but I'm more of an east coaster guy since I was born and raised one.

Quebec can be quite beautiful, especially the Laurentides and Charlevoix region.

But BC has got to be the most beautiful

Damien @ Sat Jan 14, 2006 6:39 pm

Well, i say that Quebec city, with Victoria BC, is the most beautiful city in Canada.
