I'd say definitely come to Vancouver! It's a bit expensive sometimes but it's awesome! I mean, it's supposedly the first or second most livable city in the world. You can't go wrong with that! Plus we've got that awesome BC weed if you're into that lol.
i've lived in both Toronto and Vancouver. while Vancoure is a great small city with nice views, Toronto is better on a new immigrant to find a job. it will be easier to find one in toronto in the large urban area and the unemployment in BC is slowly going up. neither is a perfect city but both have their advantages.
vancouver island mate. lots of work out here for the unskilled worker. (oyster plant, tourism) rural areas are all a short drive from towns of 10 000 - 40 000. then it becomes more of an hours drive to get to the three places with 100 000 + people. also only a short drive and ferry ride to get to vancouver. unless your in port hardy, but you don't wanna live there. the whole island is very clean. you'll never see smog no matter where you go. spectaculat views, and a more british city that any city in britan; Victoria, BC. although i really can't judge if that view is true or not. And even though most of us out here are dirt poor, we still get all the massive unused highways, cheap land that raises in value as soon as you buy it, and all the expensive stuff like 3 fire departments for a 500 person hamlet (go fanny bay!)
Hmm... an Aussie wants to move to Canada... Interesting...
Uhm... I plan to move to Canada too, but just in about 10 or 20 years, when I finished school and got a job-training... But I donT know where to go, because I think it's great to live in Canada, doesn't matter in which location/area!!!
So what do you guys think, do I have a chance of getting the canadian citizenship?

If your white and speak English, slim to none. Flip that 180°, Non white and Non English, seeking asylum, the door is wide open. You might even be a GG someday.

A completely baseless comment from Mr. empty skull. Face it, your uncomfortable with non-whites coming here.

Buddy you don't know me or the people i have as friends. As for your comment, just look at what Canada uses as a base for entry.

Victoria. Close to nature and the ocean, yet close enough to Vancouver and Seattle to enjoy their amenities.

great logic there

because more non-Whites settle in Toronto automatically in hwacker's paranoid chip-on-the-shoulder world whites must be being discriminated against.
Of course the fact that non-White immigrants naturally gravitate towards Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver is of course irrelevant, as is the fact that 2 in 5 of every human on the planet is either Chinese or Indian.
Here look at these stats...
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pub/facts2 ... nt/14.html
In 2004 25,569 immigrants to Canada came from India, in the same year 5,655 from the UK, considering India's population is 20 times as big as the UKs doesn't seem so disproportionate does it.
If you can find stats on the number of APPLICATIONS by country rather than IMMIGRANTS by country I'll consider your views.
Before then they're just dellusional paranoid ramblings.

As long as you have a skill and can speak one of the two official langauges, you should be able to get in. It really helps if you have family already living here too. Don't mind Hwacker, you'll get as long as you don't mind waiting a year or two after your application.

also tell me what city you think in canada is the best and why
John
Honestly, Vanouver Island is probably one of the nicest places in Canada, and you won't have to endure our nasty winters there.
However, if you can handle the cold, I'd suggest Edmonton or even Calgary. Both are medium sized cities (1 million or so metro area) with plenty of amenities but not as much smog and overcrowding as Vancouver and Toronto. The bonus' include proximity to the Rockies (1 hour from Calgary, 3 from Edmonton), cheaper housing, and great summers.
