Why you think Malvern is a family neighborhood now?

Actually its a lot safer than it was, just goes to show what can be done when the city and the cops get off their butts and do something.

Yeah, I'm taking advanced English lessons at school right now, got a B+ at the end of that schoolyear, have some french skills too, learned it in school for about 3 years and my grandpa can help me to improve it (hes a belgian)...

I read somewhere that I have better chances to immigrate to Canada when I choose a thiny populated area, is that true?

Now where did you hear that.. doesn't matter where you immigrate too now... coming into a larger city there is more of a chance to land a good paying job and attend school....

depends, you'll have a hell of a time in the praries, but in northern ontario, quebec, the maritimes, and anywhere in BC an hour outside a major city, you should do fine. me, I live on the island, got tonnes of immigrants from european countries like germany, the czech republic, and my nextdoor neighbor is polish.

Vancouver is great. its pretty much upper class except for surrey, downtown eastside, and part of richmond. as long as you take the skytrain or trans canada to get places you should be fine. I'd suggest moving into aldergrove, abbotsford, or maple ridge though. less crouded, slightly cleaner.

Why is everyone barkin up Surrey's tree...Enough is Enough..
Have you ever been to Surrey CM... Starting to think its closed_mind rather than Canadian_mind LOL..... things are changing out here and for the better.....

Downtown Eastside of Vancouver yes avoid at all costs.. there are a few areas of Surrey you need to be careful in (whalley/newton) Just as there are areas of Langley Delta, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge POCO, Burnaby, Ditchmond (Richmond), Alder (bush)grove and Rabbitsford (abbotsford) any where in the GVRD. There are some places in Naniamo and Victoria that don't feel safe either.....
