I've heard that somewhere before.

   

So we have religion, capitalism....hmm...what's next? I say somebody's going to bring up ethnic groups. Whites, blacks, somebody. Where's Donny when you need him?

   

As I stated already. It is the Government.

   

Government is a rational answer, I was referring to the irrational ones.

   

I understand, it is funny what people come with.

   

well to start off, get rid of religion. I have nothing against religion but i've heard and seen to many dumb fights over groups who believe in different views.
you could cut all worlds military down just big enough for home defense...at least than some countries can't just go attack others for no reason.
umm, there are more ideas you could say, but truthfully i think the human race would half to be wiped out before a peace of some sort could be seen from us..cause face it war is in our blood.

   

To acheive peace, you must be prepared for war!

   

   

Or if someone has the balls and $$$ to finally take over the WHOLE WIDE WORLD then they could outlaw war.
I can see it now
"...What are we going to do today Brain?"
"The same thing we do everyday Pinkey...Try to take over the World!"
*insert drammatic music here*

Seriously though, I think history proves that War will NEVER end, we've been finding new and improved ways to kill each other since the first person picked up a big stick and hit his neighbour with it and stole his mate.

   

I always liked that t-shirt slogan:

'Peace through superior firepower'

   

Which is the best argument for War that I have ever heard.

Whatever's going to do it, it's not going to be through eliminating any particular ideal, because that's stupid and never going to happen. There's just an inherent "us/them" mentality that people have, and it'll always be able to manifest itself in racism, bigotry, rivalries, etc, and it's a matter of recognizing that it needs to be managed for what it is, instead of trying to hide it under the rug and pretending it doesn't exist.
