Ginger 25 years to qualify for a pension. After that you can keep going until 55 or 60, I can't remember since I am retired now. 8)

60?! Really? That's young to retire. I want to have a career for 30-35 years. Can you just go for a civilian position then with the CF at 60?

Join at 20 and you could have a 40 yr career with a possibility of an extension.

I "retired" at 44! 8) For almost 2 months, then went back as a reservist.

My uncle retired at 44, re enlisted in the reserves(part time) and worked for the Corps of Commissionaires(full time) handing out parking tickets in downtown Vic until he was 60.

Full time. Another 18 months left on my present contract and I will have to really give some thought to how much longer I will wear the unifrom for.

We also run the RAVEN Aboriginal Youth Program. That should also prove to be quite interesting.

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. The staff says it's quite eye opening and they get a lot out of it.
