Scharnhorst?
Getting warmer.......
That kind of gave it away...Gneisenau
Still managed to stymie you guys for six posts, which in this thread could be a record.
Fun Facts: Germans referred to ships as "he" not "she", and Scharnhorst & Gneisenau were known as the Two Brothers by the crews of the DKM. Also, S&G were the only two battleships to ever sink an aircraft carrier using their main armament when they caught HMS Glorious off the coast during the German invasion of Norway in 1940.
I've been away too long. The NB-36; wonderful aircraft. Engine system was far too complicated, though.
Here's one you likely won't get.

This might be too easy...

Some Canadiana for you: Identify this aircraft type from the wing:
Good job Winnipegger.

Nope.
That's what's in the background, though.

Some Canadiana for you: Identify this aircraft type from the wing:
Trying to identify an aircraft from a section of wing is kind of pushing the envelope don't ya think? Kind of like trying to identify a car with only a door handle for a clue....
That said.....CF-104 Starfighter
Nope. It's a jet. It's also made (partially) of wood.
