Neil Young...
oh, you've all forgotten the best band in the world! Matthew Good Band! sheesh!
Vivisect VI by Skinny Puppy. Mmmm... Harsh, viciously political industrial tunage. *drools*
I'm also quite fond of The Tea Party, of course. Good stuff.

Holy Crap, where are all the nickelback fans cause they @##en Rock
Nickelback is sweet, they are really good live in concert. Saw them for the Molson Canadian Rocks Canada Day concert on top groose mountain 2 years ago. It Rocked!!
I would say the best Canadian album ever, would have to be Fully Completely by the Tragically Hip. It's got such great songs as... Courage, Locked in the trunk of a car, Fifty mission cap and Looking for a place to happen. It's also the album that really first turned me on to the hip so many years ago.
Anthing by the hip would probably do for me a like music @ work (yeah i'm kinda a noobie). Other than that its the Barenaked Ladies and Matthew Good Band. Oh and Shania you is foxy baby yeah....
Rush's "Moving Pictures" is an absolute classic
Triumph's "Thunder 7" was great too.
Hell, Stompin' Tom is better than the crap you hear down here.....I don't really know the names of the "artists", but all I get on the radio is friggin' HIPHOP.
I vote for Alanis Morrisette"Under Rug Swept"
not as radio friendly -though it does have the one token radio tune.As is the case with every Alanis album, you can listen from beginning to end and not hear any song that sounds like the last .
a nice change from the norm.
sum 41 - does this look infected
arg, i swear, half the post i make i forget to log in
I love most Canadian artists out there, but as a country fan I'd like to give a nod to a few not mentioned yet! Terri Clark is fantastic, Carolyn Dawn Johnson has shown Nashville once again that Canada knows country, Adam Gregory is a teen girls heart throb, and Paul Brandt can sing like nobody's business! My all time fave though is still "The Woman In Me" by Shania Twain!

Way-to-go-Twila, back there! I think Canada has more talent-per-capita than anywhere else in the world! Best album? "exit stage left", you fans will know who, ....
