All I can think of right this second.
Frankie Valli & the four seasons
I have to say that there are some really nice choices out there. Therefore good posts.
As for now, I am pretty much listening to a variety of bands.
Tool has to be one of the best recent bands out there.
Also, Deep Purple was never mentioned, so I will include it in the classics. George Thorogood, CCR, The ''Nuge''.
As for some specific tunes, Rush ''Tom Sawyer'' is a classic.
Seether (at least some of their earlier works) Disclaimer & Disclaimer II.
Pantera with the unveiling of ''Vulgar Display of Power'', was one of the premier bands.
But I would have to say for my all-time favourite, Metallica has to rank right up there.

I'm a newcomer to this forum, and I've been reading some of the posts about anti-Americanism in Canada. In light of this, if I were to...say, relocate to Canada at some point in the future, would I encounter prejudice? I had honestly never thought of this as a potential issue if I moved.
I'm thinking about BC, possibly Vancouver Island. I currently live in Vermont.
Well, thank you Pimp, for your trust in me (us )
