This is only for fun. Also to find out everyone's opinion on which bands (from anywhere) were the best ever. Also, it can be from any era.

So I will start with this:

Metallica
- Black Album
- Ride the Lightning
- Kill 'em all

Pantera
-Vulgar Display of Power

Other such artists as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Saigon Kick from the early 90's were excellent.

Some of the older bands such as AC/DC, Ozzy, Van Halen, Iron Maiden...

Also some Classics, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Traffic, Boston, Eagles.

Other bands, in no particular order or era, such as Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Godsmack, Corrosion of Conformity, Breaking Benjamin, Journey, Lee Aaron, Anvil, Pile Driver, Ramstein, Accept, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Motorhead, Public Enemy, Shinedown, Tool, Skid Row.

Goodness, this could go on and on.

As you can tell, I like some of the Hard Rock, Metal or Alternative bands. Of course there is more out there. Anyways, it's up to you to say which bands interest you the most.

The last one that I had any interest in was Metallica...nothing like a little shot of M mixed between the classical

Yum yum prog rock.

Van Der Graaf Generator, Yes, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Porcupine Tree, Jethro Tull... I could go on and on.

And prog metal, though not as much.

Tool, Isis, Ganon, Green Carnation...

Some Alternative Rock, too.

Garbage, Helmet, Faith No More...

Some Metal.

Queens of the Stone Age, Iron Maiden...

And those Italians know their shit.

Premiata Forneria Marconi, Goblin, J'accuse!..., Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme...

And of course, Canadian bands!

Harmonium, Rush, Bell Orchestre, Talisma, Maneige, Sloche, Beau Dommage, Octobre, Morse Code...

Some "younger" stuff, for good measure.

The Hellacopters, Mika, Digitalism, Disturbed (they play bad Genesis songs the way they could have been had they been good)...

... and finishing it off with all kinds of eclectic bands/people!

The Black Mages, Léo Ferré, Kevin Gilbert, whoever wrote 'The Chairman Dances'...

And I'm skimming over tons of stuff.

Top of the list for me ...the Tea Party
but to me you can't love them with out being a fan of Led Zepplin too :D
big Rush fan for a long time.
Love Black Sabbath Ozzy years.
Never heard a song I didn't like from Tool and to like tool how can you not like
A Perfect circle, check the members you'll know why.
Damn Tool, that song Hier Von Satan , googled the lyrics from German to English and laughed my head off as I thought it was a song of hate and destruction but it was a fecipie for Satan Balls ....HAHAHAHAHA man they have my respect for trying out things like that.

Theres a long list of other stuff too but what I can't stand is this new groups that have that throat yelling vocals ......nope can't do that..rather listen to country instead.

I've been listening to alot of sound tracks instead but those aren't bands .....
