But how is your argument any different.

I bring up points.
OK I've just reread the entire thread and I see no points. What are your points? :?

Please pay more attention.

What points have you brought up. All I see is a few pages of you saying that they do have equal rights when in fact they still don't have the right to be married. And you said that giving them the right to be married would be giving them more rights than heterosexuals, and you still haven't backed that point up. I don't understand how giving homosexuals the same rights as heterosexuals is giving them more rights...

WarHawkster @ Sun Apr 03, 2005 10:23 pm

Umm...there is no law saying a gay person cannot get married...

Don't be an asshole, if you want to discuss, then discuss. Stupid shit like this pisses me off.

Right... a gay person is free to marry a person of the opposite sex.

Ding ding ding!

At last someone gets it!

But you still haven't explained how they will have extra rights

hamm_y @ Sun Apr 03, 2005 10:27 pm

Ahh. I understand. We give you some points to work with and if you so choose make counter-points to, but instead you choose to be a smartass... nicely done.

I don't think I'm the first to call that argument lame.

It's true though.

Either way, your parents should be made aware that you are on the internet again, past your bedtime.

Your argument sort of takes away from the whole "freedom of lifestyle and choice" though....

Personally I don't see what the problem is. If two people love each other, let them be. We may not share the same views, the same preferences or the same beliefs, and that's what makes people individuals. I have no problem with gay marriage and I think Canada is a great country for allowing such freedom.
