we dont have to have cash thrown at us...Mr.Harper is really good at giving us money.. trying to buy a majority of course.. but its ok we will take it..
he is doing the same as the sponsorship scandal except there is no middle man.. he dilivers it himself and hands it to Charest...
funny how albertans think they are the king pin province that supports the rest of us... its easy when you use per capita basis... then I think PEI contributes ever bit as much as alberta or any other province....
no wonder they call you rednecks..
If Quebec left Canada, Alberta natural resource revenues would be even more badly used.
It appears Quebec has had enough of DION and seek to separate him.

Dion is mr. clarity (of referendum question).
well thats their right .. but there is a process like I say and party policy..
I think there will be a leadership review tho...

Leaving without a good reason would be very insulting.

No it wouldn't, it would just go to other provinces. you only think that is wrong because you beleive it belongs to Quebec.

Natural resource revenue is dangerously corrupting; the solution is to redistribute it as widely as possible. Natural resource revenue should be treated as hot potato; the more we have hands to get rid of it, the less it is burning us.

Can't agree Fire. The only think laying between the have and the have not provinces is Quebec.
Not sure I get what you mean here - were you saying you disagree Canada would survive without Quebec? That's what I understand, but I'm not sure.
Red_Eye Red_Eye:
As for Quebec, things here are taxed in double and we still don't have enough money....the solution is not seperation (for those sepratist that think Ottawa is taking too much money) its the administration practice of the Provincial Government the problem.
Something ironic... if Quebec's economy is weak (and, by extension, the province gets much cash from Ottawa), many/most separatists would argue the economy would go better if Qc was independant. If it eventually strenghtens (and, by extension, the province ends up sending cash back to Ottawa and other provinces), many/most separatists would argue we'd benefit directly from seceding...
Despite my inclination on the issue, I can't help but feel weird about that.

Yes, I can think of 139 billion dollars that could have been widely distributed, but it all went to Quebec.

Redistributing widely natural resource revenue is the only way to get a permanent world peace.
Quebec is interferring with world peace?
You said it, not me.

It is not a laughing matter.
I tend to agree with the chap that suggested Quebec would be improved much more so by overhauling the folks who run it provincially then overhauling their relationship federally.

The smaller the population, the lesser the choice and need for leadership.
wow, thats so lacking in insight, I don't know whether I should disagree with you, or disagree with you.
