I am quit content for Qc to have another referendum and say good bye but then you can leave Canadian money and the Canadian passport at the boarder please.

Again, natural resources money is not Canadian money.

uwish @ Tue Apr 01, 2008 7:50 pm

I wasn't talking about resources...I was talking about currency

The Canadian currency is flotting freely on the international market.

Do you deny that francophones were refusing conscription during WW2?

Everybody would refuse it now anyway.

Also

Being 38 doesn't feel special. AGE IS A LIE

Edit : Fixed it back to 17 now anyway.

Refusing conscription is akin to a survival instinct.

uwish @ Fri Apr 04, 2008 6:52 am

I guess the francophones must have a higher survival instinct than any other 'group' then.

It is a counterfactual question.

kal @ Fri Apr 04, 2008 7:42 am

I'm just thinking of the tons of money that would be saved, the tons of political bullshit that wouldn't have to happen... very few downsides from where I'm sitting.

Tons of money would be wasted because there would be less pressure on Canada to redistribute the easy money.
