Mark Emery
Well for thouse of you who don't know who Mark Emery is, He is the leader of the BC Marijuana Party, Who is being prosicuted by the D.E.A... (D.E.A, fuck off eh...) For selling Marijuana Seeds, in the USA, if you have sold over 60,000 seeds, you quilify for the death penilty, Mark Emery is facing Multiple Life sentences in a USA penitury, for something no canadian has EVER gone to jail for, only 2 people have EVER been fined! (If I have all my facts correct) and that was 5 years ago!
The United States of Amarica must fuck off, this is our canadian prince of pot!!! No victom no crime!!!!!!!! This is a legal matter, For more information about this, try going to:
www.pot-tv.net
http://www.bcmarijuanaparty.com/
For thouse that don't know about the BC marijuana party, here is what they beleave in:
The Party advocates for the immediate end to marijuana prohibition. The persecution of the cannabis user, grower and seller is an injustice. It is the choice of the individual, not the state, whether to use cannabis. And, for some medical users, cannabis is a necessity. Growers and sellers are merely filling a legitimate demand. Restricting the freedom of non-harmful cannabis people is an affront to our dignity as human beings, and a slap in the face of anyone that believes in true freedom.
OVERGROW THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this news just reaching Ontario now?
Charges have already been laid by a Canadian citizen to prevent him from being extradited down to the US. There's also a few threads about this already in the Canada>US Relations forum I believe.

He's a big boy, he knew what he was doing.
Srry for posting it in wrong section, I beleave that this topic(not thread, but whole matter) needs far much more attention, especially the legalisation of marijuana, and all the bullshit our canadian government says about marijuana, let me bullshit for a second, Prohibition is EVIL!, Prohibition is the gateway drug!
Btw whoever votes yes, Please explane why, So you can be humiliated, and discrased, and flamed.... by me... thnx...
He broke the law in Canada & we did nothing.
He broke the law in the US and they want to try him for it.
I say, can we send him to Syria?
Good ridance.

He may have broken the laws, but for our freedom, and for a good cause, without this man you want to send to Syria, we probably wouldn't even have hemp stores right now! This is a great man, who needs the support of fellow canadians! If you was here right now ridenrain, I'd smak you over the head with a full grown marijuana plant for saying that! (who's ever been smaked over the head with $1,000-$1,500 dollars worth of marijuana before, knows how much it doesnt hurt...)
This is more then a case of "breaking the law" this is more of the amarican government trying to stop him from helping the legalization of marijuana in canada! This is a far bigger politicial matter then you think.

Unjust laws deserve to be broken.
POST!!!!!! IceOwl, I couldn't have said it better myself!
And don't forget with the sales of the seeds he did give like 10 million dollars in taxes to the canadian government because of thouse sales, and he also spesifyed that it was from seed sales, and our canadian government, guess what? Stayed silent... Pay off? Or the government doesn't want to stop something that helps them?
I supported him when he was being held in Saskatchewan, and over that period I realized that this guy just can't stop getting in trouble. Sure I feel what he's doing is beneficial towards the rights of pot users, but I also feel that this guy is depending on his public to protest and get him out of trouble whereas he could just be a little more careful and stop getting caught... its cold outside it wrecks my high to stand out there and protest.

I see where you stand from your post, but you may not understand his concept, He is basicly trying to get himself in trouble, to show to the public how bullshit some of these laws are, and he is the one that is in the prison cell giving up alot of his freedom, and rights, just for us, and a man that is willing to do that for me, I don't care if I'm outside in the -20 degress holding onto my free Emery sign, smoking a blunt, just to help support him, this man needs the support, if he keeps doing what he is doing, and the majority of canadians support him, mabey we might get marijiwana legalized sometime 2-5 years from now, Till then, I'll be standing in pride, and protesting!!!!
The canadian senit has once said: "The countinued Prohibition on marijuana is more harmfull then the substance istelf" Hmmm... I think we are making some progress...
If what he did was not a crime in Canada then he should not be extradited.
Also, a little correction, there is no death penalty in the USA for any drug offenses, even dealing heroin to kindergartners will not get you the death penalty.
1st degree premeditated murder with special circumstances is the only class of crime that'll get you dead in the USA.

I agree. You'd probably enjoy my gun collection with that attitude!

I am almost 100% sure I seen on a video recording, with Marc Emery himself saying that he quilifys for the death penilty because of the if you sell 60,000 seeds or more your quilifyed for it... and then he went on about how..... wait... wait... memery... coming back.... I could have mistaking multiple life sentances for death penilty, I may be wrong...

What about treason ?
If he's selling billions of dollars of seeds down into the states, and his MO is to get in trouble, why is he afraid of going to the biggest media circus in the world? This is a huge opportunity to talk to a much larger audience. Won't his US supporters protest for him? Is he more afraid of going to prison than he is of fighting the good fight?
