Yup! Another asshole busted for pissing on a war memorial. Perhaps we need to make this a crime punishable by death! As a vet I take this sort of act as a major insult to those who served to make this country free from tyrants...Like Bush and Adolf Hitler.
Do you have a news link or something???
Sorry Mario, I don't. I have CBC Newsworld on in my office. I think they said Sask, or some place like that. I'm sure CBC online has it on their page by now.
Either that, or maybe they could just install urinals at all war memorials.
Just heard the story again...Winnipeg Manitoba was the location. No names released yet. Possibly underaged...again.
Disgusting.
I don't see an issue here. People gotta pee. If someone is flailing his wang about in public; denting cars and scaring horses that's one thing. If he's leaking in a corner, out of public view it's another and quite accepable. "Wherever you be let your pee flow free." is my motto.
would I be hanging around in a room full of drunken warmongers?
I'm not seeing anything about this on any news sites.
Well Figfarmer, you are entitled to your opinion on what is right and what is wrong. I'm afraid I'm a lot settled in my ways and don't buy into thinking it's ok for lazy people who can't find a bathroom to take a piss on the symbol of absolute sacrifice. It's like pissing on your grave. Not something people do without being total scumbags.
Found this on CBC.ca:

CBC News
A Winnipeg man is in custody after allegedly relieving himself on a military monument in Sudbury on Wednesday morning.
Police found Shawn Morris, 21, hiding near the Navy League of Canada monument in the Northern Ontario city's memorial park.
Morris has been charged with mischief, resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon. He was to appear at a bail hearing later Wednesday.
Staff Sgt. David Linney of Sudbury police said two officers witnessed someone urinating on the monument early Wednesday morning.
"When the officers initially observed him, he was walking through the park with a bottle of beer in his hand," Linney said. "He then actually set the bottle of beer on top of the memorial to complete his task."
On Canada Day, three young men were photographed urinating on the National War Memorial in Ottawa. One of the men was charged with mischief and all three apologized for their actions.
I wouldn't mind taking a leak on figgy's grave.
