Maybe we need a border guard or something between Manitoba and Ontario, to keep these drunken western rabblerousers from desecrating our sacred places.
What are you talking about Vit.... yer in the west.
Well I guess to be accurate Ontario should be called Central Canada, and the Home of all that is Right and Good. But I guess even the Centre of Canada is west of Atlantic Canada.....
"Westerners" refer to people from Ontario as "Easterners" though...meh
in our minds, "the west" ends at manitoba. then u got ontario and quebec, which most of the time are referred to by their names rather than central canada, at least as far as my experience goes, an everything east of quebec is "the east" or "maritimes", and B.C. is just B.C. to me because of the continental divide, and everything up north is "the territories"

Yeaah.....I think it might be better if you just start referring to Ontario and Quebec as The Centre of all that is Right and Good in Canada.

highest honour
Really?
$1:
In fact, they consider it an honor to stand their watch
Let alone they are called the "Honor Guard"

No, when they spell it that way, it is the way it should be spelt. If I was talking purely about honour that would be different.

Dude, read my link, they may not consider it the
highest honour, but they definately consider it an honour. Hell, who the fack wouldn't?

Some may think that. I was trying to find some statements from them. I couldn't find any though.

Hey C, Alberta has special constables who patrol our western border to prevent vermin from the East from invading the province,... it's called "The Rat Patrol".

Might want to clean up the garbage in your own backyard first. Starting with that fellow from Ottawa.

it seems like a waste of resources when there could be just police officers patrolling there, why do they need marines? for symbolism? i think that's silly
Marines? Nope no marines at the Tomb of the Unknowns. They are hand picked and extremely well trained soldiers of the Old Guard, the 3rd US Infantry Regiment. There is only one qualification badge in the US military that is rarer than the badge worn by soldiers at the Tomb of the Unknowns. That qual is astronaut. And these are not just parade ground dummies for display, one has but to look at the battle honours of the 3rd to see that they have been there and done that for over 200 years.
I fail to see where honouring those who have given "the last full measure of devotion" is symbolic. Must be sad to be as devoid of feeling as you Indelible.
