If you guys who are support of this coalition are so confidant in the support you seem to think you have why do you want to wait nearly 3 years before you give Canadians a chance to vote on this?

Dont spread false hoods. Their votes are not transferable to the bloq. Bloq will have no power but to vote with the ACTUAL governing coalition during confidence matters.

poquas poquas:
The only fact that matters is that more than sixy percent of the population voted for the coalition.

They just didn't know it at the time.

Yah, they just didn't see the invisible ink blot on the ballet saying "coalition govt"

And how is that a false hood? Did you or did you not vote for a coalition in the last election? Did the leaders of all three of these parties not deny that they would consider forming a coalition?

If you want to complain about falsehoods start with the coalitions insistence this isn't about public party financing.

Minorities are coalitions by their very existence. The party with the most seats gets the 1st crack at the bat but if they somehow manage to step on their dick and piss off the whole house they lose control. It is the GG that then must decide if there is a stable option in the form of the opposition coalition or to have another election. There is a drawback to a parliamentary system if one party does not like the result and just calls endless elections (like say 5 in 10 years) then the system itself is in danger of failing so the 1st option is not an election everytime. Elections are more than a simple plebiscite.

Easy to piss off the whole house when the whole house is hooked on the megalomania pill.

I dont defend a political parties every move like a moronic tribalist, so you're barking up the wrong tree. I defend facts though. Im not sure what they promised or didnt, that doesnt change the fact that youre spreading the falsehood that peoples votes are "transferable to the bloq". The status of the bloq will not change except that they'll now be voting to maintain a liberal/NDP government instead of a conservative one.

Very easily said about Harper.

Tman1 @ Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:17 pm

True, it certainly doesn't help him either.

I don't think Canadians are all that worried about Ottawa. I think actually they are entertained by the melt down. The economy is still growing, there'll be a stimulus package and a new Liberal leader in May - it's all entertaining.

Tman1 @ Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:29 pm

Maybe, maybe not.

Well I find it entertaining that the bloc will finally yield some power.

And who kept saying the bloc was irrelevant (actually I did)?
I thought the bloc would die and leave room from the green party or the PCC.

Man o Man

At least they will pass a carbon tax and spend some serious money. God (and my car) knows how much roads are terrible in the belle province. A high speed train to Toronto would be sweet. Now that is serious infrastructure. What else could we ask for federal fund?

We had a tax reduction
- we dont pay for drugs
- we have child day care
- lowest university tuition

Yeah if we get the roads fix and have the federal pay us for respecting Kyoto (cause we are almost there) that should be just fine.

Anybody that supports this “Gov’t” supports the separatists and can get the hell out of my country right now.

Let's have another election then but this time make it fair and have the coalition as an option on the ballot.

This works for me but I dont think many libs would go for it because they know they would lose.

again.

Yes "My Country" this includes all Canadians except all the prop up the shithead separatists, if you support the bloc well then you’re one of them in my books. Now get the hell out.
