These guys wanted to buy 3 tonnes of ammonium nitrate. The RCMP obviously knew this and they ensured the whole deal was captured by best evidence.

He's hypnotized himself into believing that there were no plans to begin with, and this was all a big set-up.
It allows him to join in all the fun that extreme left wingers (hell, even centrists, given how corrupt and incompetent Bush is) are having in the United States up here, despite the fact that there is no comparison between Bush and Harper.

Bottomline it appears as if the R.C.M.P. didn't think they had enough evidence or they were rushed into gathering more evidence by the CON servatrives SO they sold them the fertilizer!
In my books this is aliken to aiding and abeting the terrorists. What if they had got to use this stuff BEFORE any arrests were made?
