Not silly, lazy. Why bother with all that conquering and ruling trouble when you can just send in the McDonalds franchises and suck the money out of a place without firing a single shot.

I don't care if you people burn us down into the Stone Age, we're NEVER going to take Quebec! PDT_Armataz_01_35

ROTFL Okay, we'll keep Quebec, but that means you have to keep Arizona.

6. Annexing Alaska? I've no doubt Mr. Harper noticed the US killing a guy in one of the world's most heavily equipped anti-air zones. In any case, after the US utterly defeats Canada in any failed attempt to seize Alaska the first thing we'll do is make them keep Quebec.

We won't have to seize it militarily, we just need to wait a few more years and we'll be able to purchase it from the Chinese without firing a shot.

So that's why I've seen Tim Horton's franchises in New York State. You sneaky bastards

Shhhh! If you keep your mouth shut about our evil plan I'll buy you a coffee and doughnut.

Mediocre coffee and a thawed doughnut? For that I'll betray Mexico but for the USA I'd need Murchie's coffee and a fresh scone. Really now, a man's got to have some standards. [B-o]

OOoh, does that mean Massachussetts is negotiable? :D

Ahh, my old stomping grounds. I left a lot of shoe leather on Massachusetts Avenue. It'd have been more if I hadn't been crawling a lot of the time. :D

Well, I didn't say it had to be from Timmy's. I wouldn't betray the USA for their coffee either.

I remember Trudeau had some of this, but I don't remember anyone ever calling him Stalin, Mao, or "The Great Father." Unless I missed it. Which is possible. I've heard Cretien and Trudeau called dictators in their own times, but never to the same degree as now... and never with the apparent lack of connections as I see now, although lacking the internet may have been the cause of that. The hidden agenda and all... I simply never figured out where it came from. Can someone guide me?

The Liberals have always been champions of tolerance and compassion. The cons are the chicken little party. They want us to be afraid of people who are different or who have opinions, and I think that's the key to the Characterization of Harper. Fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) is all they have to offer Canada.

Fear Harper. Just keep repeating that in your head for four years.

I always enjoy people who preach tolerance and compassion...and yet they despise people with differing viewpoints. I might disagree with people who aren't of my ideology, but I don't fear, or hate them. As long as they're respectful to my views, I'd gladly engage in a discussion.

Curtman @ Sat Jun 11, 2011 1:39 pm

I don't despise them until they impose their twisted morals on others.

Which is...what, exactly? Harper isn't really making any major social or moral policies.

In the end, you're afraid of people who are different, or who have opinions different from your own. You are the one pushing forth fear and intolerance, not the Conservative party, not Stephen Harper, and not anybody else.

Like opposing gay marriage, like mandatory minimum sentences for marijuana, like scrapping the gun registry that costs us next to nothing and is useful to police, like what they plan to do to our copyright law.

They all are horrible policy that has nothing to do with fairness.
