Good thing that there aren't enough young and thoroughly stupid baby-boomers around anymore to inflict the Justin pestilence on us the way they did with his rotten father forty years ago. Lawrence Martin is a hack. All he'd doing is trying to cheer up the Liberals by using their usual Trudeaupia fantasizing to make them feel better.
Last time I looked Canada's going to be 143 years old come next July 1st. Can we please knock it off with the silly "youth movement", "young country", and 1960s-vintage mythology already? Just on the face of it, the demographic numbers alone don't even come close to being anywhere near Martin's ridiculous predictions.
That's right, you need hip and trendy leaders who have zero life experience to lead Canada. The old guys who run China and the USA will have a much easier job screwing you people into the ground with a bunch of liberal airheads in Ottawa.
Please make him the liberal leader ASAP.
It would make for entertaining tv, like watching great whites eat seal.
Bravo! a diamond in the rough... a breath of fresh air.. a PM in training...
awesome!
Justin Trudeau, 38, is the politician who can change things. He is young, articulate in both languages, dashing, magnetic.
Dashing? Really? Is this country supposed to be led by some sort of Disney Land cartoon character?
I heard that the view on the Hill is that he's abit of a plonker.
Title: Harper to shut down Parliament

Canadian
Why?
Hopefully the GG will tell him NO!
Dunno. Kind of a dumb move that makes you scratch your head wondering what he's on about. Parliament is due to shut down for the same amount of time starting at the end of next week anyways so it makes you wonder what the point here is. Seems to me it would be better just to wait it out then to give the opposition the bananas it needs to coax it's trained monkeys into screeching, "This is the END!!".
