When you're ready, tell me, I'll be your "what do they call that person that's there to help you in the AA???"... mentor, big brother... ?

And who is doing that for you right now?

Nobody...
That's why I'm arguing and negociating a lot with myself, but less and less every day.
Good thing I lost some weight over the summer and got a lot more active. I'm always hungry and I've biked over to the market 2 days in a row now. I never knew how delicious an olive stuffed with blue cheese could be.

Started smoking late when I was 18 and started college. Rolled my own with Drum tobacco in a pouch.
Stopped smoking at about 25 years old and stayed that way until I went back to school at age 46. My ex GF smoked so that helped to suck in too. As soon as we broke up, I wanted to stop but I guess I had to wait for the right time. I got to thinking that cycling was coming to an end soon and I wanted to replace it with running before cross-country skiing kicked in. No way I can run and keep on smoking, a lot different than the bike. I also made the promise to myself that I'd NEVER smoke in the appartment. Would have been funny to see myself put on boots and coat to go smoke on the balcony.
You can do it, Strutz.
Just keep VERY busy for the first few days at least, even try breaking your routine, just to mix yourself up. Everytime I felt that I wanted one, I asked myself the question why... I had no answer for that.

Day 5 now.
No E-cig, no patch, no drinking... but I am eating.
Right now, I'm preparing some garlic butter and cheese escargot. ![Drool [drool]](./images/smilies/droolies.GIF)

Hello everybody. Anyone want an album?
In other news, I met Chris Hadfield this weekend. He thanked me for working on the Canadair Sabre he's been flying around the country.
