While I recognize and respect the administration of this site is a Liberal however I do not pass that respect and consideration to the rest of you smarmy bootlickers. Rulez and myself are the only ones that proudly display the proud blue C, and kindly request that you show the proper respect. As I am a guest on you’re side, please extend us the same courtesy.
While some might cynically say that it's quite natural for megalomaniac Liberals to believe that they have the right to appoint their opposition, others who do not suffer under the same political disease wound disagree.

If you need someone RIGHT NOW, I’ll stand as interim leader until we can democratically elect a real leader. The duration will only be one week (or until my boss comes back). I'd much rather someone else be appointed but definately not without more Conservative recomendations.

That's why I don't participate on Free Republic or Babble (aside from the fact that I'd be toasted in a second..)
As a Lib, this puts you in conflict but I've never seen an example of unfair judgement. I might give money to the Cons, even to Iggy but I definately wouldn't give money to a mouthpeace for the Liberal party.

You've mistaken expressions of respect for someone's even-handedness from his political opposites as a "dog & pony show to have hgim appointed...."

Since it really doesn't matter at all to us, you are merly using the fact that Ruez has earned respect for his considered viewpoints, even though I (for one) usually agree to create some Liberal conspiracy to foist one of your on upon you. Ridiculous. Only to a Conservative would comments from a couple of opponent praising someone's fairness be construed as a negative thing.

I am aware of no pressure being placed on you guys to have a forum leader - it came up from Trevor and a couple of us (who happened to be Liberals) saw Ruez volunteer; we offered what we thought of him by reputation; it certainly was not my (or i imagine anyone else's) intention to interfere.

   

It's not really a big deal, the only power I have is to allow membership in the Conservative group. Which from here on in will require a ten page thesis on why the Conservatives are the greatest party to rule Canada. Followed by a 25 dollar admin fee, and some pictures of your sisters if you have any.

   

So does this mean you want to be in the Conservative group?
