I can respect that but why not announce that to all parties?
We have no idea what the party badge will have in the future so selecting the gatekeeper may be critical. This push is definately an alarm bell aqnd the fact that the Cons are the only targets is more troubling.

I just don't understand the objection to Ruez. The only positive interaction I've had with him has been on Cyber Nations, yet he seems like a reasonable voice (do you have evidence to the contrary?). To throw that over for someone like clogeroo just baffles me.... all because some Lib/NDPers think he's a decent chap as well?

Yes an alarm bell on an obsure web site....someone is in need of a life.

Then can me! You'll lose $20.
I have never seen you so attentive to one thread. Why is that?

Retype that to make sense.
Get rid of him and the site loses 20$. And he is asking why you are so attentive to this particular thread tonight.

(messenger, don't shoot)

Again, no disrespect for Rues, or or anyone involved but wes should not stand for a gatekeeper selected by Lberals.

and no one has answered why this must be done tonight.

Like I said, I don't mind it being selected by Liberals. It would also mean that our representation isn't an asshole, and can keep some sort of open mind. Not it isn't going to be chosen by ONLY liberals. A general vote from all active members would be cool.

USCAdad @ Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:49 pm

No need at all. I'm sure Ruez would gladly not take on the duties and pass them on to the apropriately elected individual. I wouldn't want to have to do it, that's for damn sure. Throw a list together, make up your qualifications for voting... where do Yank Libertarians go these days? (Yes, I know the obvious answer), and do it whenever. I think the main point was that Trev wouldn't have to.... that's been taken care of.

If you look again Riden this is what Trevor posted.
$1:
Sure I will make you the leader for now, thanks.
And now I think you should do it since you are so worried about it.

dubyah @ Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:54 pm

Dubyah is the leader of the conservative world.

With respect all around.. I have no idea what these little party afiliatiions will mean. No one does, except Trev who runs the site.
Tjis is definately trivial byt then why MUST this be done now?

Tell me then for the record, (because I'm saving this to my hard drive,) that you see nothing unusual with this selection process?

USCAdad @ Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:56 pm

Dude, you're a dead duck.

Yeah, it could wind up being hwacker, the king of tolerance and intelligence.
LOL I don't think even Cons would vote for him ;)
