I say no, if they want we can send them to Afghanistan and let me work through Immigration Canada for the next 8 years. No reason for them to be let in the country before more worthy immigrants.

If we let them in they'll be no different than the Tamil Tigers, another terrorist organization that operated openly on Canadian Soil.
There is a reason why no one's taken them, and as for Canada, we definately don't need more Muslim Militants operating here. Being militants who's to say they won't decide that our country is the evil satan because we trade with China.

I watch news and make up my own mind on the content.If it's biased then I take that into account.
There's allways a shred of truth behind new stories,I'm pretty good at stripping away someones bias or agenda.
It's not just the CBC saying these guys arent terrorists,it's Americans and other people.
The one part of the program that was interesting was one of the American military interpreters who said the interrogaters didnt give a shit what they were saying.Thats why she went and tried helping some of these detainees to get released after leaving the military.
I dont really give a shit where they go but remember they werent charged with any crimes.
Maybe some didnt read the article or watch the news on it or maybe some people are more racist then I thought.

NOTHING
We have enough people in this country that take and return nothing, why would we accept people that can't speak the language and have no skills?

They were fighting the Chinese in that country,that's why they cant go back.

Interesting argument ziggy - however, that was then and this is now - completely different circumstances and pedantical - it's also interesting that you utilise the CBC to justify their situations.
We don't want them - now, or ever - regardless of the fact a military court found them to be 'not guilty' - doesn't mean they're innocent.
Release them into mainstream Cuba or send them back - we have enough sleepers here that have yet to be identified.
I've typed my weary fingers to the bone alerting posters - particularly Winnipeg Wankers to the imminent threat of these mutts 'knock, knock, knockin' at your door' - time for a wake up call if you value your life and those of your families, unless of couse you happen to be one of them. . . .
If we take these guys we buy ourselves a few short-term political points with Obama.
Then, if there is ever another unfortunate attack on US soil, all those Yanks will remember is that we undeniably have (what they at one point considered to be) terrorists in our country.
They have already proven their desire to heap blame on others when things go wrong, we shouldn't give them another opportunity.
I am all for helping others out and I think it is a tragedy if in fact these people are truly innocent but that mess belongs to the US...& it's about time they took some responsibility for their own behaviour!

I think you should re read the article,obama has nothing to do with it,it's a bit of a political scrap between Canada and China.
They were fighting the communists in China,Dont mind Hacker,he doent know if hes supporting freedom fighters or communists anymore.He just comments on the topic header.
