Not really. Axeman said religion caused this and that and blah blah blah. These lyrics prove what?
And the bitterness I got in return, from you, proved my point.

Why are the city officials (government) taking money from this group of no faith losers?
I’m pretty sure separation means from the religion of none as well.
Why are people with no faith losers?
Because they are

So, why are you angry at me? I'm going to hell, aren't I? Isn't that punishment enough for my blasphemy?

I'm not angry. Do I have to post a smiley for everything I do?

Religion has caused lots of troubles over the ages. Today, most Christian faiths don't but there are unfortunately still some about that do (John Hagee, Westboro Baptist Church and God Hates Canada) . I understand that these people do not make up the main body of Christian believers, but they are out there. I am a Christian, but one of the things I insist on is allowing people to argue their point of view. Even atheists.

Religion doesn't cause any problems any more then guns kill people. It's what people do in the name of religion that becomes a problem.

I KNOW it's for revenue.
Thank goodness. I was beginning to wonder about you.
lily lily:
But they have a choice in which ads they accept - so they should allow their drivers some leeway too.
That's a process I don't know about. Do they have a choice? Have they not displayed pro-religion ads before? (If they're anything like the Saskatoon Transit System, they'll advertise shit-on-a-stick and paint the whole bus brown as long as someone pays for it.)
Whatever the case, it still doesn't matter. There's the bigger issue of tolerance here. By refusing to drive that bus, the driver was showing an unhealthy degree of intolerance to a different point of view.
If a Christian driver refuses to take a bus because it has a Muslim or Jewish ad, do you think he should still be given the same leeway?

If the ads said "Jesus was just a guy" or something like that...yeah, he should have that same leeway.

Religion is the expression of how people worship the divine. It is dependent on humans. God may not be, but religion (the expression of worship) does. And no, guns don't kill people, they must first be put into someones hands before they can kill. God does not kill either, but the concept of god and groups ideas of the exclusivity of their means of worship (religion) does.

Of all the people killed by other people in the entire history of humanity, I'd wager more have died because of religious disagreement than all other motives combined. The thing is, though, all religions are WRONG, and I think at least most Christians, at least in Canada, know that Christianity is bullshit. But, church is social and has nice moral lessons embedded in the lies, so what the hell. But it's still bullshit, and eventually, just like the "flat earth" belief, man will eventually figure out what "WRONG", even if he can't say what's "RIGHT". One day, as I said, future humans will laugh at our silly myths.
