BartSimpson BartSimpson:

The majority of murders committed in the USA are by low-income black people and those crimes are usually committed against other low-income black people. The second largest group of people to commit murders in the United States are illegal aliens from Mexico who, again, predate mostly upon their own people, that is, other illegal aliens. .
If this is , and I have no reason to doubt that it isn't, why then do you need to be armed to defend yourself? If you are white, middle class or upper class (Hmm, pays $800 a month for health insurance---) you have little chance of being murdered.

BartSimpson BartSimpson:
If you remove the areas of the USA that have gun bans in place from our national crime statistics our crime rates overall drop below those of every country in Europe except Switzerland (mostly thanks to the fine contributions of the muslims who are pushing Europe's crime rates up over ours) and our crime rates drop to on a par with Canada in most segments.

Please, which European countries are we talking about and which states?

Gun control has worked about as well as 'drug-control' does!
Gun control is about 'loss of freedoms and rights'
Before anybody 'labels' me, I will tell you that I have lost three immediate family members via gunshots. Still I am against the current gun control legislation that is on the books. The only way to curb crimes being commited with firearms is to make the punishment so goddamn severe that those who want to commit a crime would seriously consider their weapon of choice.Having said this, I am also aware that punishment, no matter how severe, comes into play in the 'heat of the moment'. Trust me on the preceeding statement!

The following exercise will require the help of the others here who are against the long-rifle registry. One answer per post only please.
Those who are 'for' the registry can sit this little exercise out and just wait for the outcome and then they should clearly see why 'we' are against the registry!

Statistic; (do your OWN research. Besides, I said 'Sit this One Out!) more people are injured and murdered with knives than with any other weapon

So we should ban/register ALL knives!

Now we have no firearms or knives available to us, what is our next 'weapon of choice'?
