H1N1 Vaccine- Should you get it or not?

Healthy people just get a cold.
Healthy people get the flu and colds all the time and have been for tens of thousands of years, if not longer.

Its just in the rare case when a person who is healthy will die, which is why people are freaking the fuck out. "Oh my god! A healthy 23 year old contracted the (common disease) and died, Im a healthy 23 year old! I could die too!" never mind the fact your chances are very slim.

Yes you do, its just not as exciting. "Teen in Hospital from Seasonal Flu" just doesnt have the same punch as "Another Teen Hopsitalized for H1N1".
Maybe if the teen has a health problem and maybe in a few rare cases but the deads from the seasonal flu are usually elders (flu/pneumonia is a big cause of "normal" late life death) and people with health problems. Healthy people will just get a normal flu.
Wow that sounds exactly like the Swine Flu....
Not really. Another all-healthy person died in Ottawa (I think ?) friday.
From CDC:

And the flu season has not even started.

So you say only 100 people orso die from the "seasonal flu" per year?
Pediatric deaths. Young people deaths.
Im going to need more information, a color graph without anything to back it up wont convince me.

Yes but that could be anything from an infant to a teenager.

?? I said the source: it's the CDC, Center for Diseases Control in the USA.

But definetly not an elder. I'm talking about "young people". I'm 25yo and i consider i'm young.

So when you see a specialist, its a pediatrician?

Yes but you still need to give a link to where you found it exactly, saying you found in on the CDC doesnt tell me anything.
Also saying you think another healthy person died from H1N1 on friday doesnt show us anything either, just that you have thoughts.
Here Brenda, I found the website, it wasnt hard to find. The graph he threw up is about 3/4 way down the page. http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/

It's not a "thought", it happened. It's facts.
Here is the link where you can find the graph and a lot more infos about the current situation in the USA about the flu:
http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/So saying it's just "a normal flu" is totally off the reality.
edit: oh btw when I said "I think?", it means "I think it was in Ottawa" not "I think a young and healthy person died last friday".
