The IAEA was looking at Saddam's nuclear program, which was taken down

Oh how the world forgets.. The IAEA in the 90's found the beginnings of a nuclear program, which they were allowed to do under NPA, and the U.S. assisted them in building.



This formed the entire basis of the search for WMDs, the IAEA scoured the country looking for a new nuclear program, but found nothing. Remember when George Bush lied about how they were trying to purchase Uranium in Africa? No?

When they attack you and find nothing proving their justification, your enemy looks like an ass and then you have justification to wage war without restraint against the invaders.

There is evidence saying Iran was working on them and after the Iraq invasion, they stopped.

Why would they just now suddenly start up when most of the US war machine is next door and Israel is waving up and down going "LOOK LOOK!!!"

   

Let's also not forget about when Bush tried to say that the inspectors wern't allowed in certain areas and claimed that's there the WMD were being held.

Did it ever occur to people that if inspectors of any kind went into the US to look around for illegal activity, that the US wouldn't allow them into certain areas either?

Oh, but that's for "National Security" so it's ok.

And he tried to pull the same stunt with Iran over a few places they wern't allowed to go.

Every country has places like this, otherwise all of a nations' security would be compromised.

You can't ask your enemy to strip down, show us what you got and shake it around, if you stay fully clothed and say it doesn't apply to you.

They'd tell you to kiss their ass is what they'd do, which they are and as well they should.

No, the Sabre rattling comes from people that know there is no nuke threat in the foreseeable future, but understand the potential for Iran to be come a huge player in the region even without nukes. The more powerful Iran is, the less able Israel is to dildo slap Hamas undeterred, and the less able the US is to encircle Russia and China.

"NUKE THREAT" just makes a better bumper sticker.
