Jihadist cells urged to kill Canadians
Freakinoldguy Freakinoldguy:
I wonder if this will wake up the left wing muslim apologists in this country to the threat we're actually under?
Let's examine that. can you quantify that threat? Relate it to, say, the odds of being killed in a car accident. I mean it's easy to say something is a "threat." The global warming threat, the ice age threat, the pandemic threat, the global finance collapse threat, the Islmaist threat, the air pollution threat, the separtist threat, the extremist Sikh threat.
Just becasue you want to run around squawking like a chicken with its head cut off doesn't mean we all have to. And as long as these rants come from the pulpits of fear, I won't listen. The correct response to Islamist terrorism is to crtically assess the threat and then implement countermeasures aimed at neutralizing it to a reasonable extent.

In the famous words of someone that is much maligned, "BRING IT ON!"
You may run into a Canadian or two that still owns a hunting rifle and get put in your place.
Cause it dang sure won't be a hand gun.

I can guarantee you if the muzzies make a big mistake and try to take the Jane and Finch corridor they’ll be meeting their butt ugly virgins tout suit.

Testify, my brother, oh testify! Land o' Goshen, I'm a'comin' home! Couldn't agree more. It's a strange undercurrent in the
zeitgeist out there right now that two sides who normally depise each other are rapidly finding out that they're both under assault by the politics of panic and the bloodlust for higher ratings. The Left doesn't believe that terrorism is a threat, but they want to convince everyone else that we're all going to die in a global warming generated flood, oh, maybe sometime next week. The Right doesn't worry too much about about GW but FOX News, et al, want everyone else to believe that Osama is hiding out in Medicine hat with a container truck full of dirty nukes.
My personal solution to all this stupidity? TURN OFF THE FUCKING TV NEWS RIGHT NOW! Left or Right doesn't matter anymore. They're lying to all of us and it's long past due for us to finally figure it out. You're not getting "news" off the TV, you're getting soundbites designed to do only two things. One, to generate a state of fear and, two, to exploit the state of fear to boost ratings to further boost commericial revenue (and, in the case of outfits like CBC who are just as guilty of all this as the creeps at FOX are, to justify increases in the public funding they receive).
If I was in charge the first thing I'd do (besides killing the lot of you and burning your homes to the ground! - Groundskeeper Willy) would be to institute in all Grade 10 through 12 high school classes "How To Understand Te Mass Media" and "How To Watch Television News" courses. It's becoming increasingly vital that more people start understanding how manipulative propaganda works and how to resist it. I'm not talking about the tin-hatters and the "Joo$ did 9/11!" nonsense. I'm talking about how one's responsibility to society should include not allowing oneself to be stampeded towards the slaughterhouse by those who control the apparatus of communications. Breaking it down to more basic terms is that blind faith in the messenger will get you killed.
Like I told you once before, Zippy-de-doo-dah, they fooled me once before. It won't happen again.

I can guarantee you that teh "muzzies" aren't going to try to "take the Jane and Finch corridor." Listen to yourself, for Chris'sake. How would Al Qeada, or any other Islamist organziation we know of, launch an attack to invade and capture a chunk of metro Toronto? Just explain to me exactly how you would see that haappening.
Come people. We must be tolerant. We must sit down and speak with these people. We must not fight these people. We must only peacekeep. We must accept these people into our country. Be kind. Blah blah... barf.

If you've read my prior post on page one you'd see I'm in noway an advocate of Muslims whatsoever but I tend to agree with you that until some tangible evidence arises I refuse to lose any sleep over it.Too many times Bush has warned of incoming terrorist threats only to find they're very empty. At this point I just shrug off Islamic threats as them blowing off steam.

It is ironic that the people who will demand solid proof and scoff at "scare tactics" when it comes to global warming will readily accept weak evidence and claim it's "better safe than sorry" when addressing terrorism.

Global warming doesn’t walk into markets, cafes and blow the shit out of them.
Sounds like you’re one of the ones that compares apples to turnips.

Ah another "short bus passenger" NYC is 6 hours drive from Toronto.

According to some, it could walk into
economic markets and blow the shit out of them.
