When it comes to Mohawks, how the hell can you tell who is white and who is 'native', seeing as they've been mingling bloodlines for centuries?
Well that seems like some blatant racism to me. I guess it's okay when natives do it.
Maybe a form of eugenics too, they want natives to marry natives.
I'm getting a little tired of First Nations people using the word 'native' in the wrong context so very often.

The above lists the meaning(s) of the word 'native', and for those that are like me and were born in Canada, we fall into at least 1,2,3,5, and 6 of the sub-definitions as listed on that page.
First Nations people would know about this gross miscue on their part if they weren't busy A) Blaming whitey for all their downfalls, and B) Embezzling money from whitey. Perhaps these apparent, true 'natives' have their collective priorities backwards.

How about "the over-rated people who really aren't as special as they want everyone else to believe they are" instead?
That covers too many groups and would lead to confusion.
