If I attached a dog collar to my girlfriend with a chain and walked her around downtown, I wonder if anyone would do/say anthing ?

If Muslim men in Canada are allowed to put their women in burqhas I don't see why you can't put yours on a leash. After all, it's the place of men to take care of their women and if you require a leash to do this then that's what you need to do and other people should respect your cultural values

Ah, but do this to woman in a modest, ankle length dress and then have the man dressed up in a conservative suit and holding a Bible and see if it is tolerated when he says he's doing this to keep her under control and not for some perverted thrill and see what people say. :idea:

I've just found the burka's photo on wiki site. We have more then 2M arabs here but I never saw this one.

Abaya, Jilbab, Caftan, Niqab, Burka and Hijab. ... distinctive clothing is worn by Muslim women for what purpose. The Canadian Islamic Congress says the clothing is tradition and not required by Islamic law.. They said this type of clothing does not fit in to-days world or north american culture and I agree. They are asking Ottawa to ban the Niqab and Burka.. Who would want their wife or daughter forced to wear this.....

Imagine, you're at a swimming pool, then comes muslim family.Their women goes into the water with their clothes on.
I go only to places that don't allow to do that. Swimming pool isn't a laundry.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not a racist, we just have different standards.
One of the reason I want to live in Canada because we have the same culture.

Just for the record, muslim family (I mean relatives) can have 500 - 900 members.
This mean one can bring 900.

Never saw that when I was in Israel. I did see a lot of visitors from Jordan(and others) reaaaaallly staring at the beaches in Eilat.
