Julian Assange is who he is. I appreciate that he has his principles and acts on them consistently and I fully expect that he'll sooner or later leak something unfavorable to President Trump or some other significant Republicans. I also imagine he'll continue to release things that the FBI/CIA/NSA would prefer us not to know about.

You're conflating nationality with genetic characteristics. For instance, I am genetically Scottish and white, but I am culturally Irish and my family still identifies as Irish even though we now know our families were Scots who lived in Northern Ireland for about a century while never intermarrying with the natives.
My nationality is American and that has nothing at all to do with my genetics because I am not related to any Native Americans.

Then you should understand that Scots consider the English only 80% white, who consider the Spaniards only 1/2 white who consider the Portuguese only 75% white etc. etc. etc.
The KKK probably doesn't consider Scots as white. Being white doesn't mean shit.
When in hell has anyone looked at someone else and felt ashamed because of their own colour? Yeah, that did and probably does still happen to non-whites, I've seen it.
Can't speak for black people, but Black Pride and I know Native Pride talk is specifically addressing that - so they feel equal.
White pride isn't. It's about feeling superior.

To me it's not even about encouraging some dimwits into thinking they have the right to go out and insult other races for laughs. It's more like not being told to live a lifetime of guilt for past events just because we're white, especially not when we seem to be paying the bills all the time for too many of the others.

Hyperbole? I hope so, because if you think a Syrian refugee is in any way luckier than you, you're irretrievably daft.
You'd think that losing an election to someone like Donald Trump would make liberals less dismissive of the anger that's out there, not pile it on even more until another explosion becomes inevitable.
