You're referring to the blockade that prevents them from receiving humanitarian aid? You're right, not good at all.

Gave it back. Hahaha. Good one.

God, you're an idiot. They can bring in everything they want through Rafah.

Oh wait, they like to kill Egyptians too.

Considering that the Palestinian territories have an obesity rate that is higher than the rest of the Middle East (aside from the Gulf States), I do not believe that the Palestinians are in any danger of starvation.

Toewsing, the way I use it atleast, is when you abandon all pretense at adult thought and turn a a complex issue into a simple black and white "with us or against us" proposition. Either you like ice cream or you hate children! If you don't want cc camera's in your home, you must be doind something illegal there. Etc.

Unfortunatly the real world rarely works that way. Most issues have atleast 2 sides to them, and people can have a lot of valid reasons for holding their opinions about things.

Sure, some people who critisise Israel are anti-semite, but not all or even most. Rational people can see that Israels continuing expansion is a provocation for the palestinian terrorists. Just because i see that doesn't mean I don't also see that Israel is still light years ahead of all the neighbours in terms of human rights, freedom, and equality.

Basically, there is plenty of blame and criticism to spread around that whole part of the world and anyone trying to say that one side or the other is all in the wrong is a partisan hack.

Sure enough the Israelis are no angels. After China they're the #1 espionage threat for the USA.

But the difference here is that the Israelis are not out every other week proposing to annihilate every last musilm. Meanwhile, no end of muslims and their leaders are constantly calling for the Jews to be wiped off the face of the earth.

The Jews have been there before and I'll cut them some slack on that because if I'd lost my family in a death camp I'd be somewhat intolerant of anyone wanting to finish the job.

I also cut the Jews some slack because if the Western nations were not so bigoted against the Jews in the 1930's then most of those people would be in North America and not in the Middle East. After WW2 those people fled Europe for damned good reasons and Israel was the only place for them to go. That was OUR doing.

Curious who is blockading the Egyptian side of Gaza, must be those pesky Israelis.

You really think ONLY the Israelis are the bad guys.

You are an idiot. A little clearer for the slow kid.

Rational people support the Palestinians and etc. while people who support Israel and civilization in general are 'crazy'.

Thanks for making clear whose side you're on.

You're so Toewsed, you can't even recognize it. There are crazy people on both sides. You don't have to 'choose a side' to say that Canada should not declare itself a 'staunch and unwavering ally' of either side. Canada should adopt a policy that it won't support either side until one chooses to commit itself to a peaceful process.

Or the Liberal Party policy of appeasing Palestinian terrorist groups.

Yeah that was a "fair and even" approach.

When did our PM declare that we would support Egypt unconditionally?

Anyway....

Egypt to open Rafah border permanently
$1:
Egypt will permanently open its Rafah border crossing starting from Saturday, the country's official news agency reported, easing a four-year blockade on the Gaza Strip.

The news agency MENA said on Wednesday that Egypt's new military rulers had set the date for the opening of the crossing as part of efforts "to end the status of the Palestinian division and achieve national reconciliation".
...
The decision is a sharp departure from the policies of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, who had restricted the movement of people and goods through the Egyptian-Gaza border.

So in summary and in keeping with the ignorant taste of your post.. You're an idiot.
