The use of the word deplorable by certain people is used against ALL conservatives thus it gets treated the same as the terms racist/sexist/homophobe/misogynist.

Yeah, you're right. You should tell those conservatives to stop acting deplorably so you aren't all painted with that wide brush. BRAH'd be a good place to start.
BRAH BRAH:
Yes all sides are not innocent however it's not the Right who's been throwing tantrums since the election and are currently destroying private businesses in Washington, DC.

You're right on #1, not #2. The people destroying shit aren't leftists, they're anarchists. Anarchists are usually far to the right. You don't even know who it is you're angry at.

Angry no more disgusted by their actions and as I said the Anarchists and Leftists are cut from the same deplorable cloth, the next four years will be interesting especially when he tried to push through term limits, get ready for a FIGHT!

Yes. I agree. But you're part of that cloth. We'll call it the asshole of the bolt. An asshole has a right and left side of it. You smell the same as they.

Your tears will be delicious for the next four years.

Not mine, bro. I cry for neither ditch, left or right. You're equally scum.

You're whining right now and my cup is full thanks. [B-o]

On a serious note, does this ceremony not seem a bit overblown?

Kinda like some strange cult ritual. 8O

A bit, that speech of Schumer went over like lead, quoting people
dying for "The Government" shows exactly why the Democrats should disband.

Wrong thing to say, dummy.

The US is one of the very few countries that have always had a peaceful transfer of power.

Most people in the world do not live like that.

Rather telling that today, Senegal has announced it has invaded the Gambia
to remove a President that will not step down.

An anti-Trump protester screams in agony as the new US President is sworn in.

The woman, sitting cross-legged on the ground close to Capitol Hill, was filmed yelling "no" at the top of her voice as Donald Trump took his oath.

You can hear the official 1st introduction, and this hag
wail her lungs out.

ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

Nonsense. Liberals believe in the state and authority. Anarchists--not so much. really, you've been on here long enough, you should really try to grasp basic definitions.
I wouldn't really say that being a member of CKA really gives people many true opportunities to learn the ideological differences between radicals and liberals, so it's hard to expect that ready knowledge... Some, like Fiddle and Bart, appear to possibly grasp the differences, but willingly discard that knowledge for the convenience of conflating Democrats and communists to be bombastic and obnoxious.

Just to clarify this is how I see the alignments and associations of the American Left as they intersect with the Democrat Party...

Watching some of the live footage is a joke.

But, on the plus side ABC news is covering the violent portion of the protest and not explaining away the reasons for this bullshit or ignoring it. They also finally came out and admitted that the Trump Rally in California was nothing more than a beat down of his supporters by the protesters.

Given this sudden change of attitude from the press corps when it comes to covering the violence and irresponsibility of that segment of American society who think everything should go their way and everyone should do what they want, we should start seeing a little more balanced reporting and story choices.

Lemmy Lemmy:
Dude, the extreme right IS anarchy. No government, that's the definition of both "anarchy" and "extreme right". They're synonymous, by definition! Your little anarchy club can identify itself with whatever ideologies it wants, but if its goal is anarchy, the removal of government and no laws, you're on the extreme right!

To a great degree you're right but you're conflating self-governance with anarchism.

A preference for self-governance is not necessarily a call for anarchy.

Alexis de Tocqueville best understood this 185 years ago...

http://oll.libertyfund.org/quotes/478

$1:

What most strikes the European who travels across the United States is the absence of what among us we call government or administration. In America, you see written laws; you see their daily execution; everything is in motion around you, and the motor is nowhere to be seen. The hand that runs the social machine escapes at every moment…

The Revolution in the United States was produced by a mature and thoughtful taste for liberty, and not by a vague and undefined instinct for independence. It was not based upon passions for disorder; on the contrary, it proceeded with love of order and of legality.

Trusting your fellow citizens to manage their own affairs and trusting them not to needlessly meddle in yours sums up what you call 'the extreme right'.

185 years ago the 'extreme right' were simply known as Americans.

A bunch of us want things to move that direction. Doesn't make us anarchists when we say we can follow sensible and reasonable laws absent some paid bureaucrat to order us about.
