>>>Since you weren't paying attention, I'll throw you a bone: "Bitchslap" was used, above by anon first and then by me when I responded to that post.<<<<

Idiot Anon referring to booing and heckling junior hockey team players in a peewee hockey team redux: “As long as US foreign policy effectively bitchslaps the ENTIRE world from the lofty zenith of imperial hubris”

Me in response to idiot anon: “Pull any of that shit within my reach and you will learn what a bitch slap is.”

You (“DL”) butting in: “The "bitch slap" defined as the mother of all censorship.”

Me, making a mental note that whenever the word is used you take issue as you did when I referred to what Haroon Siddiqui. of the Toronto Star (A male) was writing as bitching, or when someone else used it (Sean I believe) you take issue, you have done this on a few other occasions:

“You have a bit of a fixation with the word "bitch" don't you?”

You (“DL”) trying to be coy: “Not at all actually.” Well yes, actually:

by DL on Wednesday, December 21 2005 @ 07:40 PM MST
(Making up a quote)
"You know Canada, sometimes you can be a real bitch".

by DL on Monday, September 12 2005 @ 06:18 AM MDT
(Putting words in peoples mouths)
>>>Calling folks little bitches,<<<

by DL on Monday, September 26 2005 @ 06:55 AM MDT
(Screeching at Don)
>>I called you a warped little turd, which is clearly a restrained response to someone who refers to female posters as bitching bitches.<<<

>>by DL on Thursday, December 15 2005 @ 06:10 PM MST<<<
(Screeching at whatever)
“Now, not that I'll: <<run away like a little bitch>>”
(I use the >>><<< Arrows not the <<<>>>>)

Shall I go on?

So yes, “You have a bit of a fixation with the word "bitch" don't you?”

Why am I not shocked that you are either denying the obvious are unaware of your words or are not in full control of them?

Guest @ Tue Jan 10, 2006 5:29 pm

>>>Not at all actually. Have you considered working in a movie theatre as a projectionist?<<<<

LOL....again; The fact that you can even write that out shows a further disassociation with reality.

Jesse @ Tue Jan 10, 2006 10:41 pm

No in fact, that was a quotation, as attached to several of my posts here. In the original context, it was a clever satire of a speech made by Bush.

So, I am a hypocrite for having worked in the states, *and* I am making pronouncements from my hovel? Which is it? Am I uninformed and insulated despite having lived in the USA, or am I evil for making statements about things I have experienced firsthand? I'm putting my money where my mouth is, and attaching my name to the statements I am making, all of which are backed up by personal experience and facts.

I have previously offered to discuss things with you in private by email; that offer still stands, if you ever decide to stop hiding from the consequences of your own actions.

---
Your mantra has been your opinions are stifled due to their contrary nature, when they are actually stifled for being without perceivable foundation.

DL @ Wed Jan 11, 2006 7:33 am

LOL, you a hoot, as usual. Me, and if we account for all the other regular posters you trash here are paranoid, delusional, stupid, fat, gay, short, bad parents, bitches ect, ect, ect. But that's not why you are banned, it's censorship, yeah that's it. Paranoid you say, not at all, there are ways to sneak back in if you get banned, as you often like to brag about. Need for attention and unhealthy personality you say, not at all let me insult almost every poster here, get banned and find a backdoor back in to where I'm not wanted, now that my friend is healthy.

The US is committing war crimes, by the use of napalm and torture, if you can focus on that instead of my supposed shortcomming, do so, or stick to your clumsy character assination attemps. Your choice. Later. Thanks for the laugh:).

DL @ Wed Jan 11, 2006 7:49 am

Too bad you didn't put my posts into context by posting the comments, they were in response to. At a casual glance, it might appear I was fixated. In truth I was called, a bitch at least three times by "Anon" before I began to bring up the practice. One other female poster I recall was referred to as a "post menopausal bitch" for her opinion. Yeah us gals are fixated, all right. You go with that. If I click on your Anon post I'm sure I can't track down every post you've made so I won't be able to say for certainty that you call people bitches. Keep milking the anon option, it might still be in operation long after people stop posting here. Oh and I'll save you playing your usual dimestore psychology card: "I'm paranoid, you would never use Anon in anything but a respectful and responsible way, I'm sure.

A quote from a January 04, 2006 news article in America's NUMBER ONE (#1) DAILY NEWSPAPER...read by most everyone who is anyone as far as decision making that affects significantly large groups of people in America...almost like a "Wall Street Journal" but along the lines of a wide rangin NATIONAL version of a daily newspaper. Canada is finally getting "noticed" (eh)...good for YOU Canada :-D ...good for you, lol...

* "I'm not going to speculate about whether politics had anything to do with it," said USA Hockey President Ron DeGregorio. "To me, this is just sports, and fans are going to be fans. I'm a Red Sox fan. We root against the Yankees."

Kyle, coach at Northern Michigan, said continually that he had great respect for Canada's hockey culture, but he conceded he was "disappointed" when Canadians chose to root for archrival Russia in the USA's 5-1 loss in Tuesday's semifinal.

"I think our players handled it well," DeGregorio said. "It just had a life of its own. Some Canadians themselves were not too proud..."

Bob McKenzie, a Canadian and analyst for the TSN television network, initially said the anti-American sentiment "was almost a compliment because it was in recognition of the Americans having a pretty good team."

He said he has no issue with fans choosing to root for Canada's best interests...

But he said he was bothered by some fan behavior in the Russian game, especially at the end when they taunted the Americans with a vulgar chant and cheered enthusiastically when USA captain Kevin Porter was the victim of an over-the-top hit by a Russian player.

"Porter plays at the University of Michigan and he's a pretty classy kid," McKenzie said. "I saw this kid grow up. To me, it was piling on. The game was over. I was bothered."

McKenzie said on Canadian television that fans had gone too far.

"Last year when the tournament was in North Dakota, we had a bad snowstorm. The roads were closed and the good folks of North Dakota made sure the people who had come down from Winnipeg had a place to stay," McKenzie said. "The Americans treated the Canadians well. From a hockey standpoint, I had understood not wanting the Americans to do well. From a personal standpoint, it bothered me to see the Russians getting cheered. And they weren't gracious in victory."

With two Americans going second and third in last year's draft and USA players Phil Kessel and Erik Johnson potentially going No. 1 and No. 2 in the 2006 draft, USA Hockey seems to be in the midst of a golden era of player development.

"A bronze medal has value," said Kyle. "It's certainly not a failure to win a bronze medal."

Now that the USA is no longer a threat to Canada, who will the Canadians root for? "We think this will continue," DeGregorio said. "We expect to be booed."

---------------------------

"WE EXPECT TO BE BOOED"...nice going Can-Uhhh-Duuh. Great PR, eh. Setting the bar ever "higher" in your nationalistic/fascistic fervor of hatered of a national origin group (eh)...state sponsored, institutionalized hatred of a group of people...hmmm..just WHERE might we have seen this before (eh)..did Good 'ol Adolf (your hero) do this to the jewish people in his Nazi Party government's attempts to demagogue a single group of people for political influence, power, and financial gain??? Uh...yeah. Did Trudeau begin the same exact effort within Canada against people of American national origin in Canada's schools, government, and media? Uh...yeah...Does vivelewehate anyandalllivingthingsAmerican.ca do this in hopes of acheiving political power/influence and finacial gain? Uh...well, now that you mention it...YEAH!!! B I N G O!!! AMERICANS ARE THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL...WE GOOD PATRIOTIC CANADIANS WILL PROTECT AND SAVE YOU FROM THE EVIL AMERICANS IF YOU BUT KEEP US IN POWER....click your Canuck heels together now...all together now....(eh)...Sig Jack...Sig Paul...Sig Heil the might LEAF!!! HAIL TO THE BLOOD RED LEAF!!!! ALL HAIL!!!! RED! RED! RED! RED! RED!!!!!! GOOOOO BIG RED MACHINE!!!! YAAAAYYYY TEAM RED!!!!

yup.

>>In the original context, it was a clever satire of a speech made by Bush.<<

Clever? It was a whiney nod to the victim-hood complex that so many of those who are represented here like to wallow in to rationalize their bigotry.

>>>So, I am a hypocrite for having worked in the states, *<<<<

Again, not what I said; you are a hypocrite for trashing us WHILE you were looking for work in the States.

>>and* I am making pronouncements from my hovel?<<<

It is cowardly to proclaim that we brought Sept 11th on ourselves from the relative safety of your snow cave. If you tried it down here you would have old ladies clubbing you with their walkers and cub scouts kicking your head in with their Sunday school shoes. The things that flow from this website, Is there any question whether or not you would indulge yourself by announcing them to an unfriendly audience in an environment you couldn’t ultimately control? Is that “brave”? Is it brave to give license to others to do the same?

>>Am I uninformed and insulated despite having lived in the USA,<<

From your statements you clearly have learned nothing about us. I am curious to know how long you “Lived” in the USA.

>>am I evil for making statements about things I have experienced firsthand?<<,

You experienced a lot of anti-Canadian hate eh? I wonder if it was because you brought your hate down with you for the visit? What was it that happened to you down here Jesse that justifies starting and running a site dedicated to picking the USA apart on a daily basis? I have had some bad experiences but I never started a website to whine about it and make 1851 comments to that end. That would be a bit over the top. I would be very hard pressed that some American or “America” did something to you to earn all this. My read on it is that all of this has a lot more to do with you then it does with us.
Knowing that most Americans, out of pure ignorance at this point, hold Canadians in very high regard I would be very surprised if you could come up with a >factual< (Read “not like Barney from BC”) incident that approaches the venom that you have enabled to be spewed at us.

>>I'm putting my money where my mouth is,<<<

Smart.

>>and attaching my name to the statements I am making,<<

Smarter. I hope it prevents you from getting that US workers visa.

>>>I have previously offered to discuss things with you in private by email; that offer still stands, <<<

I have told you, I don’t have anything to say to you in private that I wouldn’t say to you in public. I also don’t want to give you the opportunity to back pedal and weasel in a personal message while you continue to trash my country and enable others to do the same in public.

Let me ask you, do you have something to tell me that you don’t want your precious little peer group to see? If so Ill send you an e-mail address. If not then there is no need to get chummy, is there?

>>f you ever decide to stop hiding from the consequences of your own actions.<<

I have had to, in one way or another face the consequences of every action I have ever taken. The consequence of running wild on this site, popping your self serving myths, exposing the hypocrisy behind the whole “moral superiority” trip and occasionally reminding some of you that you are not the poor, poor little victims that you love to pretend you are has been hours of time that could have been put to more personally profitable endeavors. Aside from amusing myself, one of the reasons I am here is to be one of the consequences you have to face for enabeling all of this bad karma. Do us both a favor and pull the plug.

Guest @ Wed Jan 11, 2006 6:21 pm

>> LOL, you a hoot, as usual.<<<

Heh, happy to amuse. By all means, write off what I said as such without the slightest grain of truth…

>> get banned and find a backdoor back in to where I'm not wanted, now that my friend is healthy.<<

Why should I play by your rules?

>> The US is committing war crimes<<

War is the crime, we didn’t start it. It would be a bigger crime against the American people and western civilization for us to lose it. It is >possible< for the USA to lose this war, most likely through a loss of resolve, something which you have shown yourself to be acutely aware of. Is your dislike of the USA worth the consequences of having a small nuclear bomb go off in Manhattan? All common decency and humanity aside, would that be good for you and Canada? You haven’t thought any of this through obviously, just sat back in your chair and labeled us as “evil”. Be very careful what you wish for.

>> by the use of napalm<<<

Napalm is gelled gasoline. Canadians used Napalm in WW2. I have no doubt it has been used in Afghanistan. There are no international conventions against it. It is a common weapon of war and has been since 1942 the best way for it not to be used is not to have any war. Is anything worth fighting for?

>> and torture,<<

Define “torture”? It could be argued that having the same exact argument with you over and over is a form of torture. Especially since you get your points refuted one week and assert the same ones over again the next week like they hadn’t been trashed.
If someone you cared about were going to be incinerated by burning jet fuel (Kind of like napalm, eh?) wouldn’t you think it was ok to, say keep someone awake who might know some of the details of how your loved one was going to be murdered? Do we all have to draw the line in the same place that you do? I think you are too naïve to be the arbiter of good and “evil” and too sanctimonious to be making such pronouncements when you haven’t bothered to sit back and really imagine the circumstances that have lead up to having to make such horrible decisions. Decisions that we are making so that you do not have to. Maybe you need to see planes full of people crashing into buildings full of people on your morning jog to finally empathize. I wonder if even that would do it?

>> if you can focus on that <<

I have, above and previously, over and over again.

>> instead of my supposed shortcoming<<

They are relevant to the fact that your assertions tend to have a disassociation with reality. When that is pointed out to you, you just make the same assertions over and over again. We had this conversation before as well. The whole correspondence/pragmatic/ Bertrand Russell/William James blah blah blah thing… its getting old at this point.

>> Your choice.<<<

One dovetails with the other.

>> Later.<<

Much

>>Too bad you didn't put my posts into context by posting the comments<<<

Of course I did:

“(Making up a quote)”
“(Putting words in peoples mouths)”
“(Screeching at Don)”
“(Screeching at whatever)”

Context. :-D

>>At a casual glance, it might appear I was fixated.<<<

So you don’t think I am “projecting” anymore…Gee what a relief!

>>In truth I was called, a bitch at least three times by "Anon" before I began to bring up the practice.<<

The first I used it here was with Haroon what’s his face from the star, (I believe) and you latched right on, trying to make the case that I was a wife beater.

>>One other female poster I recall was referred to as a "post menopausal bitch" for her opinion.<<

Not my style. I would have gone with “menopausal”.

>> Yeah us gals are fixated, all right. You go with that.<<,

Evidentially. Had I been aware of your gender it wouldn’t have been an issue. Initially I thought you were male because you’re postings aren’t very feminine. Since you act like a prick I thought you had one.

:-D

>. Keep milking the anon option,<<,

Keep letting anons post.

>> , you would never use Anon in anything but a respectful and responsible way, I'm sure.<<,

Have I ever?
