CBC Show: Canadians Vote to Merge with USA

Let me predict that the Canadian faction to lead the union will be an ex-western conservative who runs a emotionally charged wave, possibly with religious overtones. Old time left and centee politicians of course are against it but won't be able to stop it.
It's as predictable as a grade school play.
Well it over and your prediction was correct it was not exactly a Nostradomus level prediction.
Tom Clancy it isn't......in fact it is so shallow one would think streaker wrote it.
Just me, but I don't want to see Canada a part of the USA. What I like the most about Canada is that it isn't America. Yeah, I may bitch about a lot of things but I dearly love Canada and would not want to see it disappear be it from an American takeover or by the diluting effects of rampant immigration.
i dont want to try to vote twice did you?
Well... it is pretty dumb to seriously consider this.. I am sure (without having seen the program yet) that it is a play on disunity within Canada, which may be real.
However, if the Canadian folk wanted to join us, we would just have to move the border about 150 miles north of the 49th parallel and leave the rest of Canada for the holdouts. That would make everybody happy!
Edit: And... you could have Barak Obama for your president! That would make the Liberals happy!

No it wasn't a big guess at all was it... considering the where it came from.
Something better might have been a dramitization of an older PM with some sort of facial palsey who uses the national police force for his own personal gain. What about a police investigation of Chinese organized crime and the PMO must shut it down because it exposes too many of his friends..
It could have a snappy name like.. Sidewinder.

Did any of you actually watch it? Not much on Canada or what led it to join the USA in the first part... so far it has more to do with a looming war between the new USA (including Canada) and China over Saudi oil.
The show:
Crap acting.
Crap plot.
Totally anti-yank.
Not watching next week.

Could you imagine Quebec and all the provinces bitching around a table once a year in Washington like they do now?
stemmer stemmer:
CBC is the propaganda tool of the liberal fascists and their ilk!
In light of this CBC show, if you were given the oppurtunity, would you vote for Canada to merge with the United States?
Yes!
74% [ 102 ]
No!
25% [ 35 ]
Do u think canadaka is a tool for liberal too?
It's hardly a scientific poll.
This show is pure anti-US propaganda. Who would have thought that from the CBC?

Quebec ll be as the same as Louisiane. and eny stupid quebecor who wanna speak has to shut up
Now there's an idea...
I feel more at home in Maine or other parts of New England then I ever did in Ontario, Quebec or Manitoba. When I'm in Maine there is little difference then being in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick. Culture in north america differs more from east to west then from north to south.

That's because this is a sequel to another mini-series called H2O: The Last Prime Minister. Everything that led up to this can be found there.
The show could be better, they had a great idea but the execution was lacking.
Anyway I fail to see how the show is anti-American, at first glance I figured the show was more anti-Canadian since the backdrop for the events is our country being dismantled.
