I'm leaning in this direction on Season 8.

Seriously, this is one of the most childish things the generation of self-centered squishes has done so far.

   

I don't get the impression anybody seriously expects a remake of Season 8. The poll is more just a mass expression of disappointment, I think.

   

It's a nerd-fan version of the Trump haters screaming at the sky. Except even dumber because politics and maniacs in charge of things is actually important; the sky-screamers are pathetic in their own way but at least they have a point about how destructive and dangerous Trump is. Genre fiction isn't important, no matter how entertaining it is or how many people make it part of their lives. The petition is a toolbag's version of "the customer is always right" taken to it's silliest extreme, like they have a right to throw their coffee at the waitress for it being too hot.

   

I disagree. I think a lot of people are starting to dislike this final season more than you do and you're angry at them for it.

Me, I hope the showrunners can find some way to save it tonight but I'm not optimistic. Even Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) has called the way the show ends "disappointing."

   

   

I'm with Thanos. This is nothing more than the petulant whining of internet complainers who can never be pleased. This is no different than all the fanbois who moaned so hard at the ending of Mass Effect 3 that Bioware went and changed the ending.

   

I still think a better comparison would be the multitude who were dissatisfied with the final season of Lost.
