Jonny Quest, Rat Patrol, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants, Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The usual for the age.

Oh yeah, Death Valley Days, Wild Wild West and I really liked Bearcats! when it came out. Alias Smith and Jones was a frequent watch too.

$1:
Seeing Carroll O'Connor's brilliant portrayal of a bigot incapable of change

you didn't follow the seies to its conclusion then. While Archie remained opinionated, the character changed dramatically. Was he truly, even in the beginning he had friends that were Jews and blacks. Prejudiced is a better way to describe the character because he did change his mind on individuals...he even developed a personal friendship with a tranvestite.

Wow this thread really brings back some classic cheesy 70's memories! God I miss some of those shows. I used to love the Rockford files. That poor bastard was always getting his ass beat, and never had two dimes to call his own. He lived in a trailer at the beach. He was my working class hero! [B-o]

I also think that Degrassi was one of the best shows ever made, period. Its funny how it has come full circle. I have a 14 year old daughter, and she records every episode of Degrassi the new generation {I think thats what its called now}. I have watched several episodes with her. My how the world has changed in 20 plus years. Now they have pregnant characters, transsexual characters, gay characters, addictions of all types, you name it they have it. As a parent, I miss the days when one of the characters had to wear a scarf because she contracted mono. Oh well, kudos to the producers of the show for facing todays problems head on! They have the guts to realistically portray todays problems without glamorizing or sugercoating the issues. As a single dad of a teenage daughter,I need all the help I can get.

I can't believe that the Dukes of Hazzard wasn't on everyone's list.

I might as well be the first to admit to jacking off to that Daisy Duke poster. You know the one. You got it from Zellers. They must have sold 50 of 'em a week.

Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Ren and Stimpy & Simpsons - Mainly because my Dad watched these shows with me and we did a lot of bonding through them.

However the cartoons "X-Men" and "Exosquad" helped with my awkward teen years.

I haven't seen anyone mention the old classic Howdy Doody show yet, or am I dating myself??? There was the Fess Parker classic, Davy Crockett, where every kid in the neighbourhood wanted a coonskin cap. Then there were all the westerns, Rawhide, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, Have Gun-Will Travel, Wanted:Dead or Alive, Bat Masterson.

She's partially covered, after 5 minutes of hard staring your eyes tear up and you have to blink. Then you notice other things.
