They're everywhere now. Soon all cities will have the same standard franchises....not that that is a bad thing. We have 3 Rotten Ronnies, 2 Starbucks, half a dozen 7-11s, a Dominos, Pizza Hut, KFC and 2 Subways all within a five minute drive of our place......oh and a Mister Donut and soon to come Crispy Creme.

ROTFL

You have more there than we have here in the sticks

I want a starbucks too... And a Domino's :-(

Just blogging and cleaning out my photo albums so I thought I'd throw a few more in. The last is an oolong tea plantation about two hours to the north east. The others are from the cross island highway

Is that your hog in the second picture?

ShepherdsDog @ Thu Jun 19, 2008 7:13 am

Nope. I have a scooter that's a tad bigger than that. That's a 125cc Kymco, I think.

They just allowed people to have real bikes here. Up until a few years ago you were limited to 150cc bikes, unless you had a special collector's lic. Now you see BMWs, the occassional harley and plenty of rice powered crotch rockets. You don't see too many touring bikes, which would be great for tours in the mountains. My scooter is 250cc and is great on fuel.
