right and the GG has spoken so lets move on with it. January will be a different month. The facts are that this reference to the bloc and Quebec is causing some major serious shit. time to mend some fences.

The highest support is in Quebec 50%

"Fully 60 per cent of those interviewed said they opposed replacing the government with Liberal-NDP coalition supported by the Bloc Quebecois, compared with 37 per cent who favoured the idea. Support for the coalition was highest in Quebec at 50 per cent, followed by 44 per cent in Atlantic Canada."

Good luck with that, seems as though the Liberal media is pushing this "Quebec is angry " bit .

There is no "Liberal media." That's a made up term designed by Conservative ideologues to shoot the messenger whenever they hear something about the CPC they don't like.

Dion should have stepped down immediately after losing the election. Fair or not, his has become the face of a bumbling and surprised loser. How can a coalition membership possibly continue under such a goof-ball. If Ignatieff had been the leader at this time, there may have been much more chance of a do-able coalition. It will fall apart shortly...

Ujhol Dosange.. their calling for you.

PANZERBUNNY @ Fri Dec 05, 2008 12:23 am

Why not simply put their foot down with all this bending over for Quebec. Is it really THAT much political suicide to slap the tantrum child every now and again?

Quebecers are pissed and pissed at Harper. He used Quebec as a threat to get his way.
It is going to come back and kick him in the nuts. Unless the torys get a new leader they will not get votes in Quebec.

The 'coalition' betrayed canada by making a deal with seperatists, and now that their happy family is coming unglued they have only themselves for driving quebecers out by making promises they coulsnt keep

kenmore @ Fri Dec 05, 2008 4:16 am

Thousands not hundreds (like the torys numbers at Rideau Hall) marched on Parliament Hill yesterday in favour of the coalition. Now the liberals have put Bob Rae as the leading man for the coalition. as they say it ain't over till its over. In January they will turf Harpers ass out on the street and even if we have an election he will NOT get a majority,if he gets in at all. Quebec is a buzz with the dump Harper attitude, and rightly so. Quebec feels like the battered wife.. given gifts then beat up.

I think we will see M. Dion's ass kicked to the curb soon as well. We need a new system.. A new way so everyone is treated fairly.

Bob Rea, really. Wow. Just a question though, I know supporters of this coalition are all democracy this and democracy that so since when did leaders of political parties become appointed instead of elected? And has anyone told Iggy and his supporters the leadership race has been called off?

Dion can't speak english so their even.

Besides, "the dose" is learning French and he can speak Punjab, which the NDP promised to make another official language.

I guess this is the stable government some members were talking about.
