pffft... You're 36, Brenda, not 86.

Still, I wouldn't do it to you all on a public street.

Oh, I'm sure it wouldn't be a hardship for us at all.

Brenda Brenda:
Beaches is different though

Sounds like a sensible compromise. 8)

You just wanna see my boobs, now don'tcha Streak?

Streaker Streaker:
Okay, well maybe you won't want to go topless ALL the time, but maybe just every now and then on special occasions, like to a party or a romantic date etc... :D

this is exactly the point: a party or a romantic date aren't the same with pride parades in the main streets of the cities! ;)

P.S. and no! i still wouldn't! it is just much sexier when something is covered IMHO! ;)

Parties or romantic dates can't occur on major urban arteries?!? :o I beg to differ!

Well.... yes: Anticipation is a powerful motivator. 8)

At the end of the day there IS the reality that most of us look better with our cloths on.

Even OPP's icon is much, much more interesting from my position than if she were topless.

kaetz kaetz:
maybe cause it's easier to switch off the TV than to move you parades to the desert?

LOL, you telling me the brainwashing advertising and violence your children constantly see on television affects them less than gay pride parades of which they've never even been to? Riiigghht.

kaetz kaetz:
yet you didn't tell me why you ain't starting this serious topic either?

Why would I? I don't care so much as to start a thread about it. I'm just pointing out society's hypocrisy.

westmanguy @ Wed Aug 15, 2007 11:22 pm

personally, I am:

For civil unions.

Against gay marriage (traditional aspect, its always been a heterosexual union...)

For gay adoption with favouring of straight couples over gay couples. Why? Because I am a staunch believer in the traditional family unit.

I don't think it should be illegal, and I think people who commit hate crimes should be dealt with harshly.

I am also against lude behavior at the pride parades.

Oh, and I also don't think its a choice, and I believe gays are born with it,

and...this is one of the areas I struggle with in the Bible...I omit the homosexuality stance from the Bible in my beliefs.

Brenda @ Wed Aug 15, 2007 11:26 pm

I don't think you can "favour" any couple over another. A couple is a couple, and if they are allowed to adopt a child, who cares wether they are gay or straight?

westmanguy @ Wed Aug 15, 2007 11:28 pm

because I believe in the traditional family unit is best for a child.

That being said, I would rather have a child with a loving gay couple then a group home/foster home.

but if it came down to a loving gay couple, and a straight married couple, with no serious issues, then I would favour the married straight couple.

Because I think the married straight family unit is best for a child...

What about Genesis, Noah's Ark, and Revelations?

Me not liking gay parades is not the same as me not liking homo's. I just don't care. People are who they are, and I don't care if you are purple, 16, 82, black, yellow, homo or from Mars.

On your way to Canada stop over in Sanfagsicko, make it on a Friday or Saturday night. Walk around the downtown core and get back to me with what you find. Oh make sure you bring your kids with you, they'll love it. It's a real eye opener. Or should I say fly opener.
