On your way to Canada stop over in Sanfagsicko, make it on a Friday or Saturday night. Walk around the downtown core and get back to me with what you find. Oh make sure you bring your kids with you, they'll love it. It's a real eye opener. Or should I say fly opener.
Why?
I don't go to gay parades either, because I don't like that way of people expressing themselves, so why should I go to a gay meeting place (or whatever it is)? We have great parking places here, next to the highways, were gays like to hang around. Or should I say "straight" married men, who like male-love too? Why should I go there?
I just want to live my life in a normal way, and if it happens my neighbours are a gay couple who might even have adopted a baby, or got pregnant by a donor (you know, women can be gay too
), I'm fine with it. I hope they will feed my cat and water my plants when I am on holidays.
I don't live for excesses, way to much work. Everybody should be able to live their lifes their own way, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. IMO, being gay is not the same as harming anyone else.
You can come up with examples all you want, truth is, from the majority of gays you wouldn't even know they were gay, unless they told you.

Chances are your parents would have kicked you out for anything and perhaps used this as an excuse too? Tons of broken homes out there get in line behind the rest of the children.
Parents are supposed to support you, and take you for how you are, and love you no matter who you are. I see how you said kids get kicked out because of 'other reasons', but those reasons are normally because the parents can't handle them. Because the children overpower them. They steal your stuff. You can't afford their meals. That stuff, you can't really help. But not loving your kid for who they are? That is just wrong, and that was the point.

Yes, they are. You can't just call someone 'not your family' because they don't stand by you. Your sister will always be your sister. Your father will always be your father. He meant loose them in the sense of contact, and love. They will ignore you, avoid you, hurt you. You said always be true to yourself and others. Their you go. If you're gay, and you know it, don't go around saying to yourself "I'm not Gay! Pshht! You won't be called weird! Cause you're not gay!!!". If you don't want to be gay, but you find yourself attracted to people of the opposite sex, you can't just tell yourself "AHH! Don't! Looking at them like that is bad! You shouldn't like them, you sick person!"...You can't help it if you feel attracted to someone...You can't just say no, and expect it to stop.
